Corrosion Of Conformity Reveals New Album “No Cross No Crown” Details, Posts New Song “Cast The First Stone”

American heavy metal veterans Corrosion Of Conformity has announced that they will be releasing a new studio album, “No Cross No Crown” on January 12th next year through Nuclear Blast Records. This will mark their first album with frontman Pepper Keenan since the 2005 release, “In the Arms of God” and will contain no less than fifteen tracks, the first of which, “Cast The First Stone” can be heard below and will be available as a free download when the album is pre-ordered.

Tiles Posts New “Pretending 2 Run” Video Interview Segment

The Detroit prog rock titans from Tiles have issued the fifth and final segment in their ongoing video interview series documenting the creation of “Pretending 2 Run,” the band’s double-disc album released earlier this year through Laser’s Edge.

The members of Tiles sat down individually and chatted about all things “Pretending 2 Run.” Divided into five parts and totaling nearly thirty minutes, the band takes the viewer behind-the-scenes with insights on the album’s tentative beginnings, the concept and story line, artwork and variations, the many special guests involved with the record, and the multi-national recording process.

Tiles also booked an annual Motor City ProgShow, which takes place next weekend:

Bauda Posts “Tectonic Cells” Music Video

Chilean outfit Bauda has just premiered a music video for “Tectonic Cells,” which can be seen below and comes off the band’s third album “Sporelights” (reviewed here). “Sporelights” was released late last year through Temple of Torturous on CD and vinyl.

Bauda was started by guitarist/vocalist César Márquez in 2006 as a solo project and has previously released an EP entitled “Del Mar Al Aire” in 2006 and two full-length albums, “Oniirica” (2009) and “Euphoria… Of Flesh, Men and the Great Escape” (2012).

Newsted Posts New Music Video, “As The Crow Flies” Online

Newsted, the band fronted by former Metallica and Voivod bass player Jason Newsted, has posted their new music video online for the song, “As The Crow Flies.” You can check it out below. The song comes from the band’s debut album, “Heavy Metal Music,” which was released last year through Chophouse Records.

The group were recently the subject of some controversy when they removed from Australia’s Soundwave Festival, with some sources claiming Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine was behind the decision, though he disputes this. Newsted will still be heading to Australia this month however, to perform two shows with Testament, which are as follows:

Divided Multitude Releases New Music Video For “Feed On Your Misery”

Norway’s Divided Multitude has released an official video for the title track from the album “Feed On Your Misery.”

The video was directed by Matteo Ermeti and can be viewed below. “Feed On Your Misery” was released earlier this year through Fireball Records and Nightmare Records. It was mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen at Hansen Studios.

Mass Infection To Release New Album “For I Am Genocide”

Mass Infection will be releasing new album “For I Am Genocide” later this year through Comatose Music.

The band has also now posted footage online (unfortunately with low audio quality) of a new song off the album, titled “Maelstrom Of Endless Suffering,” which was recorded during a live performance in April.

“For I Am Genocide” is the follow-up to the 2009 release “The Age of Recreation.” The artwork is available below:

Nile Announces Australian Tour Dates With The Faceless

American death metal outfit Nile has announced that they will be heading to Australia this November for a string of headlining shows in support of their seventh studio album, “At the Gate of Sethu,” which was released last year through Nuclear Blast Records. Joining them on the trek down under will be fellow Americans, The Faceless.

Sophomore LP On Way From Iron Jaws; Band Signs With Pure Steel

Italian speed metal act Iron Jaws signed a worldwide deal with Pure Steel Records. The band was formed in 2006 and released its debut self-released LP “Louder Is Not Enough” in 2010. Since that, the band has recruited vocalist Andrea Finotti (in 2011) and drummer Riky Porzio (in 2012) and has recorded a new, as of yet untitled, sophomore LP. The release is expected this year through Pure Steel.
