Cradle Of Filth Debuts New Song & Lyric Video “Achingly Beautiful” From Upcoming New Album “Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay”

Cradle Of Filth is back with another new track titled “Achingly Beautiful”, taken from the approaching new album “Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay”, which will be out in stores September 22nd on Nuclear Blast.

Check out now “Achingly Beautiful” below.

Comments frontman Dani Filth of the song:

“Influenced by the stories of E.F Benson, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, H.Rider Haggard, Oscar Wilde, Arthur Machen and Algernon Blackwood to shame but a few, this song concerns itself with a spectral guest at a great masked ball who, (deeply embedded in his cruel libertine nature, attends merely for merciless, seductive sport), but instead discovers the woman of his dreams and both bewitching the other, finds in her his dark, immortal equal. I love this song as it has a very old skool Cradle vibe for me, both lyrically and musically, and reeking hideously of the Vampiric, the dropdown section in the middle is pure ‘A Gothic Romance’.”

All Four Members Of Decapitated Accused Of Gang Raping A Girl On Their Tour Bus

Recently released court documents reveal disturbing details in Decapitated’s recent arrest. As reported earlier past week all four members of the band, Michal Lysejko, 27; Waclaw Kieltyka, 35; Rafal Piotrowski, 31; and Hubert Wiecek, 30, were arrested on September 09th after the band’s show in Santa Ana, CA with a potential charge of first degree kidnapping.

The charges stemmed from an incident which took place following the band’s August 31st show at “The Pin” in Spokane, WA. As it turns out, all four band members have now not just been accused of holding a female against her will, but also gang raping her on band’s tour bus, while also sexually assaulting the victim’s friend.

Spokesman.com have provided the following summary of the court documents that were revealed:

“The women said they ended up speaking with members of Decapitated and were invited to have drinks in the tour bus parked outside the venue, according to court documents. One woman “described being excited to be on the bus, and then one of the band members began grabbing her breasts,” court documents say. “He was later identified as the drummer, Michal Lysejko.”

The same woman “was uncomfortable and said the band members began speaking to each other in Polish,” court documents say. “She described the ‘vibe’ in the bus changed, and one of the members began looking at them like they were prey.”

The woman said she looked at her friend “to signal they needed to get out of there.” She then used the bathroom and was followed by the lead singer, Piotrowski, according to court documents. The woman told police Piotrowski began kissing her as she finished using the bathroom, and she began resisting when he started undoing her belt, according to court documents. She said she wanted to leave the bus with her friend, but a band member indicated her friend had already left, saying, “You have to have fun. She left you.”

The woman “attempted to push Piotrowski away but he grabbed her arm and spun her around to where she was facing the sink and mirror in the bathroom,” court documents say. “She saw in the mirror and out of the corner of her eye each of the band members taking turns raping her.”

The friend, meanwhile, said she watched the band members rape the other woman, and Piotrowski asked her to perform oral sex on him. When the friend refused, court documents say, “she was pushed to the ground and received bruises to her knees and shins.”

Shortly after leaving the tour bus and driving away, at 12:43 p.m., the friend was pulled over on North Washington Street near West Boone Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to court documents.

In the back seat of a patrol car, the friend was allowed to use her cellphone to call the other woman, who reported the rape. A state trooper said he couldn’t help without a specific location and proceeded with his DUI investigation.

The alleged victim “described her body as feeling broken,” court documents say. “After an unknown amount of time,” she told police, “Waclaw (Kieltyka) helped her put her clothing on and carried her out of the bus with another male.”

She walked north from The Pin and called several family members before calling 911, according to court documents. An officer found her near North Post Street and West Buckeye Avenue, about 2 miles from the venue. The officer also stopped by The Pin and “checked the area for the tour bus, but the band had already left Spokane for their next venue.”

The woman was taken to Providence Holy Family Hospital for a sexual assault examination.

Detectives noted she had “significant bruising to her upper arms consistent with being restrained” and “small abrasions to her knuckles that were scabbed over.” During the rape, she said, she “was digging her fist into the wall to try and distract herself from what was happening.”

Court documents say detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office interviewed the band members on Thursday.

Lysejko, the drummer, “made no comment other than he did not know who the girls were” when shown a picture of them. “He said he would not talk without using a translator,” court documents say.

Kieltyka, the lead guitarist, told detectives he saw both Piotrowski and Wiecek engaged in a sex acts with the woman in the bathroom. He agreed to have a DNA swab collected as evidence.

Piotrowski “admitted there was a party on the bus and (the women) were present. He then requested an attorney and a translator refusing to make any further statements,” court documents say. He declined to give a DNA sample.

Wiecek, the bassist, admitted the women had been on the bus, but said he “sat on the couch and did not see what was going on,” court documents say. “He then said he needed a translator so he did not misspeak. He also said no one was forced to get on the bus. He then said he did not recall what happened.”

Wiecek also declined to give a DNA sample.

A fifth man, Wojciech Cichocki, told detectives he was asleep in the cab of the tour bus and never saw the woman who reported being raped. Cichocki said he “only briefly” saw the friend who was later pulled over. “He also made a reference to (her) Instagram account but would not elaborate on it,” court documents say.”

All four members remain in custody in a Los Angeles County jail awaiting extradition to Spokane, WA. The band’s attorney Steve Graham had previously stated: “There is another side to this. We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit band of her own free will and left on good terms.”

In light of the most recent accusations now being made public, he commented: “Decapitated plan to fully fight the allegations that are brought against them, and we are fully confident that the other side of this story will be heard.”

He declined to comment further.

Confess Offers First Interview Since Being Arrested In Iran

Last year we reported that Iranian metal duo Confess – consisting of Nikan “Siyanor” Khosravi and Arash “Chemical” Ilkhani – was arrested for blasphemy and running an illegal band and record label promoting music considered to be Satanic.

Very little was public about the case at the time, but now Metal Injection has published an interview with Nikan “Siyanor” Khosravi, offering his first public comments since the arrest. Excerpts can be read below.

MI:Are you safe right now?

If by being safe you mean not worried about losing your life, yes we are safe. We are with our families and our loved ones living day by day. But if being safe is having peace of mind, then no, we are not. We don’t know what is going to happen to us, as human beings and as artists.

MI:Can you tell us what happened the day you got arrested?

It was eight in the morning. I was in bed and no one else was at home but me. Somebody rang the bell, but I didn’t answer. My mother came back to home at about 10, and then the bell rang again. As soon as my mother opened the door to see who is there, eight guys and one woman rushed into our house. It was the I jumped out of the bed to see what was going on. They saw me and asked me “Are you Mr. Nikan Khosravi?” I answered yes and they showed me the search warrant. They then took me back to my room. They wanted me too sit down against the wall while they were chewing up my room.

One of them started searching my cellphone, another one was searching my personal computer and my hard drive’s data. Three of them were in the hall, and the woman was staying with my mother outside of my room. They took away all my instruments, metal shirts, magazines, books, Hollywood movies (a lot of which were forbidden in Iran because of their content), the notebooks that my lyrics were in them and other personal belongings.

While they were gathering my items in the hall, they were trying to play with my mind. They were saying things like “You are done,” “We took you down,” “You thought we never find you, huh?,” “Does your family know what are you doing?,” “Tell us about the stuff that you are hiding here?”

I didn’t speak a word but I was totally shocked by how they treated me like a real criminal. I didn’t know what to say to them because I knew that from living, at the time, 22 years in Iran, our worlds and ideology are too far away from each other. I knew that someone like me would not be able to convince them or change their mind. Once they were done gathering my things, they told me to get dressed. They handcuffed me, grabbed my arms and took me to the exit. My mother asked them, “Where are you taking my son?” One of the guards who showed up a little later, claiming he was my main investigator answered her calmly and happy “The Evin Prison. You can ask about him there.”

New Single “You Don’t Know” Streaming From Kobra And The Lotus

It’s been three years since Kobra And The Lotus’ last studio album “High Priestess” was released back in 2014. The time since has not been wasted; with the third album under it’s belt, and completing multiple tours worldwide (with the likes of Kamelot, Sonata Arctica, Black Label Society, and Fear Factory to name just a few), the path of self-discovery has led the band to this most important moment: “Prevail I,: the band’s latest offering. The album will be released on May 12th via Napalm Records. Check out he new song “You Don’t Know” in the player below.

“Prevail I” promises to be a rock juggernaut full of blistering guitars, pounding rhythms and haunting vocal melodies that will take the listener on a sonic journey leading them out from the darkness and into the light! Produced by Jacob Hansen (Pyramaze, Volbeat, Amaranthe, Epica etc) and mastered by Grammy award winning Ted Jensen, “Prevail I” will undoubtedly usher the band to much deserved elevated hard rock status. Evolution is inevitable and Kobra And The Lotus have delivered their most powerful album to date.

Says vocalist Kobra Paige: “To be alive brings many great things but among those things includes great suffering. It’s painful to feel backed into a corner, judged, misunderstood for who we really are. We can never really know a person until we have seen their point of view, crawled into their skin, and walked a mile in their shoes, but that will never happen. This is the anthem for the man, the woman, the human, navigating their life the best way they can. After all “You don’t know what it’s like to be me.”

Prevail I, with Prevail II to complete the story in the not too distant future, sports the following track list:

1. Gotham
2. TriggerPulse
3. You Don’t Know
4. Specimen X (The Mortal Chamber)
5. Light Me Up
6. Manifest Destiny
