Witch Casket Premiere Music Video For “The True Knot”

In anticipation of the release of their debut EP entitled “Hatred Index”, Southern California Blackened Death Metal outfit Witch Casket have announced the release of the music video for “The True Knot”, one of the tracks from their upcoming album due out April 27th. The video was filmed in Los Angeles and directed by the band’s vocalist “Drogoth”.

Watch the video below:

Drogoth had this to say about the video:

“Since our first music video was mainly a “performance” video, I wanted to do something more cinematic and story driven. The video finds the band members fleeing the city, being pursued by an unseen adversary, or perhaps being drawn to the outskirts by the call of a coven of powerful witches. The band is taken on a journey that serves as a sort of “origin story”, following them through a transformation from crestfallen reprobates to a stronger, more unified force. The video was shot on location in Downtown Los Angeles, as well as along the Angeles Crest Highway in the San Gabriel mountains.”

New Music Video “Hatred Index” On The Way From Witch Casket

Southern California progressive blackened death metal outfit Witch Casket (featuring ex-members of disbanded symphonic black metal group Sothis) announced the impending release of the first music video. The clip is for the song “Hatred Index,” the title track from their upcoming album will be released Tuesday June 13th. The video was filmed in Los Angeles and was directed by Matt Eskew.

Lead vocalist Drogoth had this to say about the video: “We wanted to do something fairly simple for our first video with footage of the band performing. This is to give people a look into how the band presents itself and what to expect when seeing the band performing in a live setting. The next video that’s currently in production will be a much more cinematic endeavor.”

The band’s debut album “Hatred Index” will be released in late 2017. “Hatred Index” will be the second song released by the band, following the release of a lyric video for the song “That Damn Devil” earlier this year, which is available over at this location.
