Powerwolf Re-Issuing Early Albums On Vinyl

Powerwolf has a deep bond with Metal Blade Records, who helped the power metal werewolves over the period of four albums to become the dominating force they are today.

Metal Blade will now re-issue the first three full-lengths in the history of the band – “Return In Bloodred,” “Lupus Dei,” and “Bible Of The Beast” – this coming August 11th on vinyl. This is the first time these albums will be available on vinyl as stand-alone releases.

All three albums will receive the “MB Originals” treatment: 400g heavy cardboard spine sleeves (inside out print), big posters, 250g inserts, plus a special vinyl re-mastering from Patrick W. Engel.

Orden Ogan Unveils New Album “Gunmen”

Power metal group Orden Ogan has set “Gunmen” as the title for the band’s new studio album, which will be released on July 7th via AFM Records.

Acolyte Announces “Shades Of Black” Album Release

New From The Depth EP “Perserverance” Expected In December

Italian metal act From the Depth announced that in mid-December, the band will issue a new EP entitled “Perseverance,” which comes a few months ahead of the full length, yet untitled, sophomore release. The EP will contain six tracks, which includes one with a special guest musician, a cover song and some live material. The live material will be captured at the band’s upcoming performance on November 21 in Rome with Kaledon and Infinita Symphonia.

The band will choose an album cover from fan submissions to the band via the Official Facebook Page. The deadline for entries is November 15th and the winner will receive the EP, the upcoming sophomore full length and publicity through the band’s official website, Facebook and personal pages of the band members.

Hardbanger Announces “Foursome Tape” EP Physical Release

Hardbanger has announced the “Foursome Tape” will receive a limited physical release on April 1st, 2013.

Disperse Offering Free Song Download, Seeking Fan Lyric Videos

Disperse is offering a free download of the track “Profane the Ground,” taken off of the band’s Season of Mist debut, “Living Mirrors.” The track is available for free download at the Disperse Bandcamp page, and you can stream the song below.

Additionally, the band has announced a lyric video contest for “Profane the Ground.” Disperse is looking for fan created and submitted lyric videos to be posted via Facebook here up until April 15th. Winners will be chosen by the band, and two runner ups will receive Disperse prize packs. The grand prize winner will receive both the Disperse prize pack, as well as a massive Season of Mist prize pack.
