Details Of New Album “A New Beginning” Revealed By Appearance Of Nothing

Appearance of Nothing, having recently signed to Power Prog Records, has announced the impending release of the third album “A New Begnning.” The album drops on February 14, 2014 as a CD and digital download.

With the third long player, Appearance of Nothing presents “exciting songwriting, successful progressive arrangements, hard powerful Metal riffs, decent excursions into the Death Metal world, exceptional keyboard work and clear vocals paired with fat growls [which] will provide for the ultimate attention.”

Drum Performance Video Of “Heavy Metal Power” Posted By Elm Street

Australian traditional metal act Elm Street posted a drum playthrough video, which features Tomislav Perkovic performing the track “Heavy Metal Power,” which appears on the 2011 debut LP “Barbed Wire Soul.” The album is available via StormSpell Records.

Elm Street will provide support for Warbringer and Iced Earth on the upcoming European leg of the “Plagues of the World” tour beginning in January. For more information, head on over to this location.

Second Trailer Posted By Kambrium, Tap Flaming Row Mainman Martin Schnella As Producer

German symphonic death metal act Kambrium posted up a second teaser for the yet untitled sophomore full length effort and follow up to “Shadowpath.” The band will enter Overlodge Recording Studio in Spring 2013 with a release expected during the year. At the producing helm will be Flaming Row guitarist/vocalist/keyboardist Martin Schnella, who will also provide backing vocals.

It was previously announced that Amanda Somerville (Trillium/Kiske-Somerville/HDK/Aina) will provide guest vocals on the song “Lake Gloom.”

Song titles for the record inlude the following: “Scepter of the Serpent,” “Lake Gloom,” “Spellbound by a Nightmare,” “Dark Lights,” “Taken By Storm” and “Opus Aeternus.”

Amanda Sommerville Announced As Special Guest On Kambrium’s Second Album

German symphonic death metal act Kambrium announced that Amanda Somerville (Trillium/Kiske-Somerville/HDK/Aina) will provide guest vocals on the song “Lake Gloom” from the band’s upcoming, yet unnamed, sophomore LP. Recording for the album is set take place in 2013 with a release expected during the year.

Keyboardist and song composer Jan Hein had the following comment: “I am very glad that we were able to win Amanda for us. She is a very strong woman with a great voice. I think that she will lift our music to a new level! I’m looking forward to the new album, and hope that we can inspire you with our music.”

Some of the other song titles previously announced for the release are: “Scepter of the Serpent,” “Spellbound by a Nightmare,” “Dark Lights,” and “Taken By Storm.”

Iron Maiden Posts "Countdown" To Maiden England Video

U.K. legends Iron Maiden posted a behind the scenes video on the band’s preparations for the Maiden England North American Tour which kicks off tonight in Charlotte, North Carolina. Alice Cooper will provide support in the first half of the tour at which point support will come from Coheed & Cambria. For all the tour dates and venues, head on over to this location.

Farewell To Arms To Support Napalm Death On European Tour

German melodic death metal band Farewell to Arms announced that it will provide support for the Napalm Death on its current “Utilitarian” European Tour. Farwell To Arms will join the bill in late March 2012. The band’s latest is the “Exhalation” EP was released in 2010 and the band recently signed on with Massacre Records in late 2011. In Spring 2012, the band is headed to Weltraumstudios in Munich, Germany to record the debut full length.

U.K. band Hell announced that the band will provide support for German legends Accept in April 2012 for the upcoming European tour. Hell had released its debut LP “Human Remains” this year after forming twenty years ago.
