X-Vivo Streaming New Single “Catharsis”

German industrial metal band X-Vivo has released a new single titled “Catharsis,” which can be heard below.

X-Vivo is currently writing a full-length album as a follow-up to latest EP “Out Of The Smell Of Decay” from 2013. “Catharsis” will not be a part of the new album due to conceptual reasons, but it was recorded in the process of creating these new songs.

Fit For An Autopsy Denied Entry To Canada During Tour

Fit For An Autopsy has been out on a North American tour, but unfortunately will not be taking part in the Canadian dates. The band comments:

“Unfortunately Fit For An Autopsy has been turned away at the Canadian border. We tried our best, after getting turned away last night, by coming back today to speak to someone who could ‘help.’

“Only to be turned away again. Sorry to all our friends and fan who made plans to see us, we hope to figure out a way to be back soon.”

Newsted Removed From Soundwave Shows, Replaced By Whitechapel

The Soundwave Festival has checked in with the following statement about Newsted (featuring former Metallica member Jason Newsted) being removed from two shows at the insistence of Megadeth:

“At the request of Megadeth, Newsted will not be playing the below sidewaves and instead will be replaced by Whitechapel.

“Megadeth + Whitechapel + Volbeat, tickets on sale now!”

Vesperia And Crimson Shadows Cancel Tonight’s Lethbridge Show

Vesperia and Crimson Shadows are currently on tour in Canada together, but tonight’s show in Lethbridge has been cancelled. Vesperia comments:

“Unfortunately due to financial reasons, we will not be performing in Lethbridge tonight. We would like to thank Ethan Lentz and West of Hell for the opportunity. We would like to make it up to both of them in the future. Because we are broke, we are hanging out in Walmart instead.”
