Inire Offering “Endless” Single For Free Download

Set to unleash new album “Cauchemar” on November 18th, Quebec’s heavy hitting, northern riffing groove demons from Inire are now offering fans a taste of what’s to come with a FREE download of the “Endless” single. You can hear the track below or download at Pure Grain Audio here.

Inire’s 13 track album “Cauchemar” was produced by Chris Bonavia and continues the band’s reputation of delivering energetic anthems that have garnered a loyal following in the Ontario and Quebec scenes. The band comments:

“It is with some trepidation that we present Inire’s sophomore record ‘Cauchemar,’ the long gestating follow up to 2009’s ‘Born the Wicked, The Fallen, The Damned’. It has been a long, arduous labour of love to bring this infectious collection of pure northern rock to fruition and we could not be more proud of the final result.

“‘Cauchemar’ is an album that is somehow both more melodic and aggressive than the first outing and a new maturity is obvious on the record. A multitude of influences echo across every track and should bring a knowing smile to fans of old-school acts ranging far and wide from Pantera to Alice in Chains. Despite this, the overall sound is distinctive and ‘Cauchemar’ is definitely its own beast. For fans who like their metal hard hitting and mean as hell. We sincerely hope you enjoy it!”

New Album “The Bidding Of Tyrants” Announced By Invertia, New Track Streaming

New England Industrial Metal Duo Invertia will self-release new album “The Biddings of Tyrants” on December 9th. Following 2014’s sophomore tour de force “Another Scheme of the Wicked” via Ohm Resistance, the forthcoming release sees Invertia taking its oppressive industrial metal to harsh new heights. “The Biddings of Tyrants” still retains the Invertia sound of industrial black metal with added elements of death metal and hardcore punk. The album as a whole, musically and lyrically, focuses on the world around us and its effect on the human psyche. However, each song is a different ‘Bidding’ from a different ‘Tyrant.’ Check out the new song “Dystopiate” in the player below.

Produced by Invertia, “The Biddings of Tyrants” again features the multi-talented tandem of Dave Coppola (vocals, guitars, bass, FX, samples) and Tim Winson (drum programming, synth, mixing/mastering). The album also features the drumming of Aaron Rossi (MINISTRY, PRONG) and Kevin Talley (Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Six Feet Under); the former performing on “Dystopiate,” “Non-Sunni,” and “The Forever Incision,” and the latter on “Scatter” and “Not for Taste.”

The album’s track listing is:

1. Another Big Brother
2. Dystopiate
3. Non-Sunni
4. Fleshless In Real Time
5. Thetan Hop
6. The Forever Incision
7. Scatter
8. Not For Taste
9. Existence Exit
10. Trapped & Tailored

Woe Of Tyrants Working On New Album

It’s been six years since Woe Of Tyrants released the “Threnody” album, and now new material is finally in the works. The band commetns:

“Fall is here and the grind begins! Ever since Woe of Tyrants was born, our members have written in the fall. Most musicians I know personally love the fall and winter months for writing music. I guess cold weather and winter depression spreads creativity throughout the world! ‘Threnody’ was written against a deadline, all between September-October of 2009. ‘Kingdom of Might’ was written throughout the fall of 2008 and the first songs written for that album (‘Seven Braids of Samson’ and ‘Break the Fangs of the Wicked’) were both written the fall before, in 2007.

“I hope ya’ll get where we are going with this *wink wink* Progress has been made in the few short months that we have decided to start writing new material, we have been tossing around ideas and being patient with what is being developed. We are battling impatience but the time put into the material really helps perfect everything. We have a vision here, but we can’t settle for anything less than our best and the excitement has steadily been growing since we started. The bubble burst this past week and things are naturally falling into place just like the good old days. 😉

“This post is a friendly reminder to fans that Fall is here and things have been picking up! Kids are in school, circumstances allow for more time to be set aside, and we need it! There is more work to be done and we have been listening and talking to so many since announcing we are kicking around some tunes again.. Impatience doesn’t just grow within ourselves when it comes to new material! We love you all and we are eternally grateful that we have such a immense group of die-hard fans that are as supportive as they are impatient. Ya’ll been waiting 7 years, that’s love right there.”

Comeback Album “The Future State Of Wicked” Detailed By Blood Feast

At long last, Blood Feast is reborn into the metal underground with the highly anticipated third full-length album, “The Future State Of Wicked,” set to be released by longtime fans Hells Headbangers. And today, the band reveals the details, as well as the first track, “INRI,” which can be heard in the player below. The album is targeted for an early 2017 release.

Blood Feast fans old and new will not be disappointed by “The Future State of Wicked,” as the “holy trinity” of releases from the band’s early days – “Kill For Pleasure” (1987), the “Face Fate” EP (1988) and “Chopping Block Blues” (1990) – inform much of the new album. All the speed, brutality, and twists ‘n’ turns Blood Feast is known for are intact and in your face (nine of the 10 songs being written by original guitarist Adam Tranquilli), yet updated with modern production. Joining Adam are vocalist Chris Natalini and bassist Tom Lorenzo, along with some new blood in Joe Moore (drums) and CJ Scioscia (guitar).

The five-man Blood Feast reunited for an appearance at the NJ March Metal Meltdown in 1999, but further activity was not to be. A second reunion began in 2007, albeit only with original members Tranquilli and Kuzma. Both Lorenzo and Natalini came on board in 2010, just in time for the band’s first appearance at Headbangers Open Air in Germany (they were invited back in 2013). During this stretch, Adam began writing new material, with the band even playing an early version of “INRI” at select shows.

The track list for the album is:

1. INRI
2. Off With Their Heads
3. Brethren
4. By The Slice
5. The Underling
6. Last Rites
7. Who Prays For the Devil
8. Nein
9. Remnants II
10. The Burn
