Aborted Fetus Releasing Third Album On Comatose Music

Russian slam metal band Aborted Fetus has teamed up again with Comatose Music for the release of “Private Judgement Day.” The band’s third full-length picks up right where 2010’s “Fatal Dogmatic Damage” left off. Crypt Sermon Streaming Debut “Demo MMXIII”

Epic doom metal scions Crypt Sermon have announced the forthcoming release of their 2013 debut, “DEMO MMXIII,” in the form of a special edition cassette tape via Dark Descent Records. The tape, exclusively limited to 300 copies, is slated for a worldwide release on December 17th. “DEMO MMXII” is streaming in full over at bandcamp and below in the player.

Regarding the forthcoming release, the band said: “Crypt Sermon is thrilled to see our demo finally unearthed. We’d like to thank Dark Descent Records for their support, and look forward to creating new music for the underground. We are currently hard at work writing our full length debut, and look forward to hitting the road in the near future.”

Rigor Mortis Readying Final “Slaves To The Grave” Release

Finally, the “Slaves to the Grave” release from Rigor Mortis is shaping up for release in early 2014. The band has revealed the tracklisting of the release over on Death Metal Underground. Al Jourgensen will also appear on the final track.

Recorded with its 1988 lineup including now-deceased guitarist Mike Scaccia, “Slaves to the Grave” was recorded during February 2012 at 13th Planet Studios in El Paso, Texas. According to the band, this will be the final Rigor Mortis release and a swan song to Scaccia, who died on December 23rd, 2012 while performing at the Rail Club in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Acacia Strain Reveals “Above/Below” EP Details

The Acacia Strain, who recently parted ways with longtime guitarist DL Laskiewicz, has just announced its new EP “Above/Below.” The release, which will be the first ever without Daniel, debuts the Springfield band’s two new guitarists. The Acacia Strain’s official camp made the following announcement on facebook:

“In case you guys missed it, we are putting out a brand new 7” EP with two new songs, entitled ‘Above/Below,’ very soon! These are the first songs to feature our new guitarists, Richie Gomez, and Devin Shidaker, produced by the man himself, Will Putney.
