Dee Snider Posts New Video, “American Made” Online

Former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider has posted a new video online for the song, “American Made.” You can check it out below. The song comes from his latest solo album, “For The Love Of Metal,” which was released on July 27th through Napalm Records. Speaking about the song, Snider stated:

“I was watching the Olympics and couldn’t help but notice that no matter how ‘at each other’s throats’ we all appear to be politically these days, amazingly we are all unified when it comes to our country against another. It made me realize that countries are like dysfunctional families: we may argue and fight amongst each other (You should have seen the extended Snider family Christmas this year. People literally almost came to blows. On Christmas!?), but should someone dare attack any one of us and the entire family will band together against the aggressor. This goes for all countries. This song is a song on unification – recognizing that there is a very important something we all share and should be proud of: where we are from.”

Sick Of It All Reveals New Album, “Wake The Sleeping Dragon!” Release Date And Artwork

New York’s Sick Of It All have announced the release of their upcoming album “Wake The Sleeping Dragon!,” which is scheduled for release on November 2nd via Century Media.

Working with friends is one of the key factors that are very important to Sick Of It All, so asking Ernie Parada for the striking front cover was an obvious choice. “There is no reason to burn bridges in this business”, says drummer drummer Armand Majidi. “Our history with Ernie Parada goes back to the late eighties, so working with him, there is a kinship that makes things easier to communicate.”

Singer Lou Koller and Parada came up with the idea of doing monster-movie styled art as the cover. “The dragon climbing the Empire State was a concept I always wanted to see brought to life, so the two ideas were destined to come together this way.”

Sick Of It All and Tue Madsen, who mixed and mastered Wake The Sleeping Dragon!, have maintained a long-lasting relationship based on understanding, friendship and most importantly, good results – three factors any band would be very happy with. The Jerry Farley also became a very important part of the creation of this album. After working with him at Nova Studios, Staten Island, New York, before they went for a closer approach on this album: “This is the first time we’ve ever had a producer involved from start to finish, including the song-writing process. His objective viewpoints helped settle a lot of little issues that could have easily become stumbling blocks, and the songs themselves ended up benefitting from them.”

Keep your eyes and ears open for a new song soon.

Senses Fail Debut New Track “New Jersey Makes, The World Takes”

Senses Fail debut “New Jersey Makes, The World Takes” from their upcoming new album, “If There Is Light, It Will Find You“. That effort is due for a February 16th release on Pure Noise Records.

Tells frontman Buddy Nielsen of the track:

“Over the years, I have lost a number of friends to drug addiction. This song addresses those losses and how I have tried to intervene in people’s addictions over the years. As someone who has battled addiction, I know that the change has to come from within.

While support and resources are very important, it is ultimately a decision that is on the person who is battling. So many of us in this country have a friend or loved one who has lost their battle, and I thought it was important to highlight that struggle.”

Fall Of Summer Festival 2017 Finalizes Lineup

The Fall Of Summer team is glad to reveal the complete lineup for the 2017 edition today, issuing this statement:

“First, we are happy to announce a very important band in the Fall Of Summer history, since they were the first band we announced in 2014 and gave us their trust when all of this was just a project and we’ll always be grateful for that. We are proud once more, to announce that British metal legends Venom are back in Torcy and you better be there!

“To continue with British bands from the 80s, they represent 30 years of crust all by themselves and we’re not even sure you are extreme enough to take it! So get ready to welcome Doom in September!

“Now we go a bit more north with Norwegian black metal legend Gaahl and his new band Gaahls Wyrd for a mesmerizing performance including songs from Gorgoroth, God Seed, and Trelldom.

“The last band of this announcement is French and you may not know it yet, but if you like black metal you will probably come back home from Fall If Summer with some of their albums, so we advise you to start listening now to Ende.”

Van Halst Releases “Questions” Music Video

Canadian outfit Van Halst is asking the “Questions” with a new music video emphasizing to viewers a strong message to take action against domestic violence and rape culture. Vocalist Kami Van Halst comments:

“‘Questions’ is a very important song for us. There is so much victim blaming in our society and we wanted to draw attention to this issue. My sister (Brittney Grabill) and I wrote this song in response to a series of sexual assaults that were happening in our home town.

“We were appalled by the lack of focus on the perpetrator and the questions being asked of the victims such as ‘Well what were they doing there in the first place?’ We need to stop putting the blame on the victims and shift our focus to preventing these altercations in the first place. People need to understand that violence and abuse towards another person, any person, is not OK.”

Eternal Deformity Premieres New Song “Reinvented” From Upcoming New Album “No Way Out”

Poland’s Eternal Deformity premieres a new song entitled “Reinvented”, taken from the upcoming new album “No Way Out”, which will be out in stores November 18 via Temple of Torturous.

Check out now “Reinvented” below.

Comments the band on the album:

“Our new album No Way Out is very important for us as its final shape has been influenced by many factors, both the external and internal. It’s an album that both in the title and its expression has a double meaning. Our main inspiration were present world events and the accompanying conspiracy theories, which we feel are not only interesting but also they increasingly become certainty and are reflected in today’s reality. We have tried to create a unified work. Subjectively speaking, we believe that we’ve achieved what we were aiming for.”
