Zeal And Ardor Releases “Don’t You Dare” Live Video

Zeal & Ardor, the brainchild of Manuel Gagneux that mixes black metal and blues with lyrics delivered in the fashion of chain gang slave spirituals, just premiered brand new song “Don’t You Dare.”

This marks the first time the song has ever been heard and it was performed live at Couleur 3 studio in Lausanne, Switzerland on January 18th, 2017. Check out the video below.

The song does not appear on “Devil Is Fine,” Zeal & Ardor’s debut album, which is due out globally on February 24, 2017 and reviewed here.

Gagneux told Noisey, “The idea of something so horrible that merely looking at it will end you is fascinating to me. ‘Don’t You Dare’ thematically plays with biblical demons as well as Lovecraftian elements that lend themselves well to this idea. Since I wrote it after getting the band together, it’s not on the album, but will be performed on the upcoming tour. I hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoy playing it.”

Emmure Posts “Flag Of The Beast” Music Video

With the release of a seventh full-length record quickly approaching, Emmure today unleashes a brand new music video for the song “Flag of the Beast,” which is featured on the upcoming album “Look At Yourself” (due out March 3rd on Sharptone Records).

Discussing the process behind the making of the new music video, Emmure front man Frankie Palmeri states: “I was very happy with the video we did with Aaron Marsh. He came to me with a vision based off his interpretation of the song, and he brought it completely to life. He wanted to give me an audience that becomes ultra violent or possessed by the lyrics of the song.

“‘Flag of the Beast’ represents the idea that I am in fact some sort of evil deity in some peoples eyes, but on the same coin I am sort of an anti-hero. It is about myself and how I view people that have exited my life or have looked at me like I’m not on the right path. It is about being the epitomy of all things that are against the grain. You can hate me if it makes you feel better, but I am not going anywhere.”

1. You Asked for It
2. Shinjuku Masterlord
3. Smokey
4. Natural Born Killer
5. Flag of the Beast
6. Ice Man Confessions
7. Russian Hotel Aftermath
8. Call Me Ninib
9. Major Key Alert
10. Turtle in a Hare Machine
11. Torch
12. Derelict

Earth Electric Premieres New Song “Meditate. Mediate” From Upcoming Debut Album “Vol. 1: Solar”

Psychedelic heavy rock outfit Earth Electric – featuring former members of Ava Inferi and Mayhem – premieres a new song entitled “Meditate. Mediate”, taken from the upcoming debut album “Vol. 1: Solar”, which will be released on May 12 via Season of Mist.

Check out now “Meditate. Mediate” below.

Explains the band:

“We have chosen the aptly titled ‘Meditate. Mediate’ as our first single, because this song reflects the content and theme of our album well,” Earth Electric says. “We also feel that its vibe serves as a wake-up call for this rather bleak and egocentric world. We simply need more colours! Through our debut Vol. 1: Solar we convey pure emotions with a musical emphasis on ‘the classic era’ of hard rock. In our opinion, the result is adventurous and fun; at times a tad psychedelic and untamed yet on the other hand classic and refined. This is no make-up, just pure rock in all its pride and glory. We are Earth Electric!”
