Annihilator Frontman Jeff Waters Explains Tour Postponement

Annihilator mastermind Jeff Waters has posted a video online explaining that the band has been forced to postpone their upcoming tour dates tour dates. The statement accompanying the video reads:

“So, I have been quiet about the passing of one of our previous and legendary singers, Randy Rampage, and as well about the upcoming headline tour(ing) next month,” says Annihilator frontman Jeff Waters.

“Hopefully, this video will explain the silence, why current tour dates are postponed and hint to you about new dates coming to you on Tuesday. On an unrelated note, construction on Watersound Studios UK (Durham, UK) is coming along nicely and will be a dream come true. Love to my Canadian family and love to my new UK family!”

New Dark Buddha Rising EP out April 20th on Neurot Recordings, video teaser available

Finnish psychedelic doom outfit Dark Buddha Rising are set to release an EP titled “//” on Neurot Recordings on the new date of April 20. The EP will contain two tracks, clocking in at 26 minutes.

The release date occurs a day after the band’s collaborative performance with fellow Finns Oranssi Pazuzu at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands. The collaboration, which will perform an exclusive new concept piece, is called Waste Of Space Orchestra.

Civil War Splits With Vocalist Patrik Johansson

After just announcing an upcoming tour with Nightmare, vocalist Nils Patrik Johansson has unexpectedly parted ways with Civil War. The band comments:

“Good evening to you all! As some of you probably already noticed our vocalist Patrik suddenly left the band without any further notice. It came as a really big surprise to us all.

“We just had a meeting and we came to the conclusion that Civil War will go on! We’ll take the holidays now to let all this sink in and then we’ll start the hunt for a new singer after that.

Forgotten Tomb Lining Up 2017 Tour Dates With Caronte

The Italian black/doom metal heavyweights from Forgotten Tomb are soon to celebrate their 18th year of existence with 9 albums under their belts and will hit the road along with the ritualistic doom mongers Caronte between April and May 2017.

Both bands will be presenting their brand new albums that will be released next year. The tour will be handled by Daemon Star Agency and dates / venues are still being confirmed.

The upcoming tour will be Forgotten Tomb’s first after the successful “European Upheaval” tour with Nocturnal Depression, which took place late 2015 – the same year which saw the release of latest installment, “Hurt Yourself And The Ones You Love.” Stay tuned for full details.

Philadelphia-based hard rock group Everlit burst onto the scene last year with the “Renovate” EP and single “Break Away.”

Now, the group is back with a brand new single, entitled “R.E.D.” Listen in below. The track previews Everlit’s upcoming tour, visiting several east coast and midwest cities this April and May.
