Der Weg Einer Freiheit Posts New Song “Skepsis Part II”

Der Weg Einer Freiheit is now premiering the first sinister track taken from upcoming fourth studio album “Finisterre.” The song, “Skepsis Part II,” can be heard below. Frontman Nikita Kamprad comments on behalf of the band:

“We are extremely stoked to finally be able to present the first new track taken from our upcoming album ‘Finisterre’. In comparison to the quite complex and progressive instrumental ‘Skepsis Part I’, the now premiered ‘Skepsis Part II’ is a more straight forward composition, in which epic melodies are aggressively building up until the doomy grand finale.

“Ultimately, we consider both parts of ‘Skepsis’ to be connected and forming one extensive musical piece. This lyric video also provides an impression and closer look at the extensive album artwork, which was created by our friend Max Löffler once again. Enjoy!”

2. Ein letzter Tanz

Unleash The Archers Posts “The Matriarch” Lyric Video

The definition of matriarch: “A woman who rules or dominates a family, group, or state; specifically a mother who is head and ruler of her family and descendants.”

“The Matriarch” is also the brand new track and music video off off Unleash The Archers’ upcoming album “Apex,” due out June 2nd via Napalm Records.

Brittney Slayes states “This track is chapter three in the story, and in it we are introduced to our antagonist “The Matriarch” in all her malevolent glory. We call this one our ‘quick banger’ because it’s fast, catchy, and fun, and hopefully it won’t take long to learn the words!

“It is sung from an omniscient point of view, drawing the listener in with tales of The Matriarch’s depravity. The best part is the bridge, because the song is so dark, and then it launches into this flowing wraithlike guitar melody that is so memorable, I sing along to it every time and I think the fans will too! Absolutely cannot wait to play this one live ;)”

1. Awakening
2. Shadow Guide
3. The Matriarch
4. Cleanse The Bloodlines
5. The Coward’s Way
6. False Walls
7. Ten Thousand Against One
8. Earth And Ashes
9. Call Me Immortal

Nervecell Discusses Leaving Unique Leader Records

Nervecell just checked in with the following statement about the band’s current label situation and upcoming album:

“We’d like to clear the air about this as we’ve been getting a lot of questions about whether we’re still with Unique Leader Records for North America. The fact is we’ve left Unique Leader Records for reasons not worth publicly mentioning, as it only creates more speculation.

“It was a decision we made ourselves for the band’s best interest. What’s important to us now is that we focus on our new album ‘Past, Present…Torture.’ It’s completed, sounds absolutely killer and is ready to be released soon. So if there is any U.S. labels / A&R executives reading this or interested to work with us, the door is open and you know where to find us.

“Having said that, we are super excited to be back with our European label home Lifeforce Records who will release ‘Past, Present…Torture’ for all our European fans this summer. Cheers!”
