New Album “Entering A Timeless Winter” Announced By Talv

Italian atmospheric black metal act Tav is set to release the new album “Entering A Timeless Winter” on November 3rd through A Sad Sadness Song Records. The album is the third full length release from the band.

Hailing from Italy, Talv started in early 2012 under the name of Trees In The Fog. The purpose has always been to merge dissonant and melancholic black metal with a touch of ambient music. Like painting a dismal scenario, Talv’s new effort is drowned into the darkest north-Italian naturalistic black metal inspiration. The cold and freezing guitar sound reminds of Tenebrae in Perpetuum and Beatrik’s classics, while the prevailing desperate feelings position the band within the groove of depressive black metal.

What makes of Talv a personal and unique project is the wise equilibrium between a hateful, cold hunger and a fragile background soundscape. The ColdWorld cover further emphasizes the strong visionary ambient perspective and inspiration of this raising underground project.

The band commented: “‘Entering a Timeless Winter’ is going to reveal the artistic direction of this new cold journey.”

The track listing is:

1. Dreaming a Funeral in Another Life
2. A Sad Moon Concealed by Pines
3. An Eternal Snowfall Will Come
4. Sidereal Hypothermia
5. Winterreise (Coldworld cover)

Emortualis Re-Born With New EP “Biological”

Emortualis was formed under the name Hellraiser in 1989 to play pure death metal. After some rehearsals and gigs, the demo titled “Written by Death” was recorded in 1991. The band played many gigs in northwest Italy supporting important undergroung act such as Alligator. The band ceased to exist in 1993 due to some personal problems.

In 2014, the old freaks decided to restart with the band. With the same pure spirit of the beginning, the band started to play death metal again with the same attitude of the old roots of evil. In 2009, the compilation “Re-Writted by Death” was released as a new effort as a statement that the band is on the road again!

In 2016, new member AS joined the band as rhythm guitarist and a new Emortualis era was officially born! Now the band is set to release the brand new EP “Biological” via The Spew Records on September 29th.

The track listing is as follows:

1. Dissected
2. Written
3. Back From Hell
4. Future Talks
5. Biological Green Mutation

Autumns Eyes Posts “Ending Life Slowly” Studio Update

Autumns Eyes just released a studio video updating fans on the progress of new album “Ending Life Slowly,” which follows previous release “Broken Leaves and Haunted Streets,” and also issued this statement:

“It’s a strange position to be in, being a solo artist with no record label breathing deadlines down your neck. On one hand it’s quite therapeutic to create music without any restraints, but to fans who await your new material, it can be a grueling process of patience. When I first started making music under the name Autumns Eyes, I was cranking out song after song, album after album, and totally hitting my stride. As the years progressed, so too did the years between new albums.

“Working under seemingly limitless conditions caused this process of creation to become more relaxed, but at what cost? Well, the older you get, the more life tends to get in the way of things you once enjoyed so freely in your youth. What used to be such a well-oiled music making machine, has progressed into a passionate project that only gets attention whenever the calamity of life mellows out just enough to let the project thrive again. So, I suppose there are in fact limitations on my easy-going therapeutic recording sessions after all.

“Despite these limitations, there is still music to be made, and Halloween is looming over the horizon. While promotion for the album is set to ramp up as the months progress towards October, I’ve put together a video to quench anyones thirst who’s been curious as to whats been going on behind the scenes. ‘Ending Life Slowly’ is scheduled for release this Halloween, and the 10 song album will be accompanied by new music videos, merchandise, and other Autumns Eyes goodies that are sure to satisfy fans both old and new.”

Wormholedeath Signs Licensing Deal With Helvetestromb

Wormholedeath Records is proud to announce that Swedish black metal act Helvetestromb has signed a licensing deal for the worldwide release of the album “Demonic Excrements Cursed With Life.”

Helvetestromb was formed in 2010 then under the name Skoll. During a drinking binge, three of the original four members (Sebastian “Überführer ov Sadistik Violations” Messa, Tom “Grym Ejakulator” Ahlqvist and Axel “(Piss and) Shitlord” Sjöberg) contemplated over how awesome it would be to play music similar to what they loved to listen to. The idea was formed to make punk inspired black metal you’d want to bang your head and mosh to. Next day, the soon to be vocalist (Jesper “Anal Desekrator” Tennemo) was informed that he was now in a band and it was time to start rehearsing.

The following years came with a few accomplishments and some setbacks, as drummer Hjalmar “Lord Necrofleshcunt” Klitse Kyrö was in the band, but let go sometime later. After some serious issues within the band, rhythm guitarist Axel left the band in the summer of 2014. This allowed the remaining members to step up the game. In addition, the band’s sound evolved more and more adding thrash and heavy metal power surges. By the summer of 2014, the first professionally recorded tracks came out as an EP released on cassette entitled “Helvetestromb” (“Hell Tornado”).

During the recording of the first full-length album in 2016, Skoll finally changed name to Helvetestromb. The band had crystallized into a solid power-trio with a united ambition to create a shitstorm of fast, raw and punkish metal in opposition to the modern metal scene, mixing everything they love about metal into one unrelenting, leather-clad creation of blasphemy.

The track listing for the album is:

1. Tempesta di Merda (A legion of Jesus Christs)
2. Restless Satan
3. Skitberget
4. Holy Christian Airstrike
5. The Demon Bell
6. Kloakerna under Hel
7. Bog of Eternal Stench
8. Warmongo
9. Tormentive Retribution
10. Sifting Excrements (Through the Teeth)
11. Morningstar:Whore crusher

Rotting Christ Responds To Religious Demands, Will Perform Under A Different Name In South Africa

Greek black metal legends Rotting Christ have issued a statement in response to the pressure heaped upon them by South African religious groups. The band has also confirmed it will perform the shows as scheduled but under a different moniker. The group’s statement reads as follows:

“The religious voices that want to supress the artistic minds freedom and remove any “voice” that is different to their own will not dominate, they will not find auspicious ground against a band who lives in the frontlines of the NON SERVIAM battlefield.

“So we definitely will do our scheduled shows in South Africa this summer (under the name ? ? S*) and we promise a hell of a show to our African Metal brothers.

“See you in the battlefield!”

*Unfortunately, our website doesn’t display the Greek alphabet. See the video/song below for the name Rotting Christ will be using in South Africa.”

Tourniquet Issues Update On Band’s Future And New Album

After the band parted ways with vocalist Luke Easter, Ted Kirkpatrick from Tourniquet has issued the following statement to fans:

“Hey everyone. Just a quick update on the present and future of Tourniquet. First, Tourniquet is not going away. I have more than a lifetime of music to give, and God willing, I plan to share it with whoever would like to hear it, just as I always have – under the name Tourniquet.

“The classical influence, the medical terminology, the allegories to nature, the beautiful and the ugly sounds, the fast and the slow, the ordinary and the unexpected, the triumphs and challenges to faith and hope – all these things you the fans have indicated you like about our music – will continue – and continue in new ways.

“The new material is very heavy (and sometimes beautiful), and full of melody and twists. Vocals will be with a new singer – not a collection of vocalists (although I love doing that, as you know by now – wait ‘til you hear the guys on the Sabbath tunes!)

“So – thank you all for hanging in there – onward to 2016 and beyond – and a very Happy New Year to you all!”
