Our Place of Worship is Silence Debut New Song “The Blind Chimera and Its Death” From Upcoming New Album “With Inexorable Suffering”

Los Angeles black/death unit Our Place of Worship is Silence debut a new song entitled “The Blind Chimera and Its Death”, taken from their upcoming new album “With Inexorable Suffering”, which will be out in stores April 13th via Translation Loss.

Check out now “The Blind Chimera and Its Death” below.

Explains the band:

“After the fall of the powers that be, there will be a successor shielded by a hideous farce. Once the despot collides with the perilous blackness of opposition, it will become obsessed with its own demise. This is the analysis of its formation and ultimate dismantling. Sonically, ‘Blind Chimera and its Death’ shows the difference between us and our contemporaries. Separation and ferocity through originality are the sacraments of Our Place of Worship is Silence.”

Wake Debut Title Track Of Upcoming New Album “Misery Rites”

Canadian grinders Wake debut the title track of their upcoming third album “Misery Rites”, which will be out in stores February 23rd, 2018 via Translation Loss Records.

Check out now “Misery Rites” below.

Explains vocalist Kyle Ball:

“Misery Rites is a concept that is made up of my personal battles with depression, addiction, isolation and their perpetual cycles that I’ve found myself caught in, time and time again. Some songs stray from this concept and focus on different avenues of human arrogance. The song ‘Misery Rites’ is the first song in the overall narrative found throughout the album. It’s about the beginning of these cycles and how easily I keep falling back into them.”

New Song “Rat” Available From Gnaw

As Translation Loss Records prepares “Cutting Pieces,” the third LP by New York City-based Gnaw for release at the end of the month, No Clean Singing has undertaken the task of issuing the album’s lead track, “Rat” which you can check out over here, or simply by staying here and clicking the player below.

Gnaw was created by vocalist Alan Dubin following the dissolution of Khanate. Closing a four-year gap since the acclaimed second album, “Horrible Chamber,” Gnaw’s “Cutting Pieces” dredges forth some of the outfit’s most unnerving audio assaults yet. The seismic atrocities and haunting intricacies on “Cutting Pieces” leaves an instantly damaging, long-lasting impression, their cumulative decimation producing some of the outfit’s most cinematic terror to date.

Gnaw commented on the new single, “‘Rat’ was conceived in individual heliocentric hallucinations as we each submerged ourselves in separate self-deprecation chambers. We feel it is a perfect album lead-off song. It’s visual. It feels like an entrance to a dark recess.”

Translation Loss will release “Cutting Pieces” on LP, CD, and digital formats on October 27th; find pre-orders over at this location.

Lyric Video For New song “Inside/Outside” Posted By Jeff Scott Soto

September 2017 is a special anniversary for Jeff Scott Soto and Frontiers Music Srl as it marks the 13th anniversary of Frontiers releasing Jeff’s album, “Lost In The Translation.” In celebration of this milestone, Jeff Scott Soto has released a video for the song “Inside/Outside” from his upcoming album, “Retribution.” Check it out in the player at the bottom.

Soto describes the song as “[a] great tune that was originally slated as a Talisman song, it remained on Howie Simon’s hard drive until now. With a revised lyric and melody comes this hidden gem, hope you dig it!!’

“Retribution” is set for a November 10th release via Frontiers Music srl, with pre-orders available at this location.

Jeff Scott Soto’s career spans over 30 years. He was first introduced to the public as the vocalist for guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen’s iconic first two solo albums before going on to front the esteemed hard rock band Talisman. He is also one of the vocalists for the wildly popular Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the lead vocalist for supergroup W.E.T. (featuring JSS alongside members of Eclipse and Work Of Art), creative visionary for the more metal leaning SOTO, and frontman for the new supergroup, Sons Of Apollo (which also features Mike Portnoy, Derek Sherinian, Bumblefoot, and Billy Sheehan) amongst many other musical activities he has been and is involved in. He also held a stint fronting Rock N Roll Hall Of Famers Journey and was one of the vocalists for the officially sanctioned Queen tribute, Queen Extravaganza. His incredible voice has led to many invitations to do guest lead or background vocals on a multitude of albums, including, but not limited to. Stryper, Joel Hoekstra, Saigon Kick, Fergie Frederiksen, Lita Ford, Steelheart, and many more.

In 1994, he released his first solo outing “Love Parade”, followed by the acclaimed “Prism” (2002), “Lost In The Translation” (2005), “Beautiful Mess” (2009), and “Damage Control” (2012). “Retribution” is his sixth proper solo studio album.
