It Lies Within Kicking Off U.S. Tour Dates

Michigan metalcore quintet It Lies Within is gearing up to kick off the “High Fives & Hand Shakes” tour later this week.

Having recently conquered Europe for the first time with The Browning and with a new album on the way, It Lies Within returns to the road at the end of the month for a 21-date run starting in hometown of Flint, MI on April 28th.

Eyes Set To Kill Releases “Break” Single

Eyes Set To Kill just released the first offering from an upcoming new record. The band’s new single “Break” is available now to stream/purchase on Spotify and iTunes and can be heard below.

In addition to the single, “Eyes Set To Kill” will also embark on the “Break Into Action” tour this spring, with support coming from Bad Seed Rising & The Nearly Deads.

Eyes Set To Kill is thrilled to share that Tiaday Ball (of The World Over) has joined the band as new bassist. Additionally, the band has welcomed long standing touring guitarist, A.J Bartholomew, as an official member.

Vocalist Alexia Rodriguez states, “We are excited to be playing some brand new jams on this tour in support of our album coming out later this year and are lucky to be heading out on tour with a lineup full of bands fronted by badass, talented women from the underground rock scene.”

One-Eyed Doll Announces Halloween North American Tour

Austin’s One-Eyed Doll will return to the road this fall, with the announcement of an annual Halloween tour. Kicking off this September, the 2015 leg will also feature Stitched Up Heart and Run 2 Cover, with dates spanning across the U.S. and Canada, and coming to a head on Halloween night in Phoenix, AZ.

Additionally, One-Eyed Doll will be unleashing the epic music video for the track “Afflicted” next week, but is offering fans a chance to see it before anyone else. Within the next week, any fan that purchases a ticket for the tour will receive an exclusive viewing link to the video, before it goes live to the public.

“Afflicted” will be the first music video off the group’s new album, “Witches” (reviewed here), released earlier this year on Standby Records.

Pyschostick Announces “The Evil Dumb” Tour Dates With Wolfborne

When evil comes together with dumb what can possibly go wrong? Tom Cruise showing up for a cameo in a “Danger Zone” video? Maybe a flying taco being chased by dogs who love socks?

What you really get is Bluebeards Original presenting the comedy masterminds of Psychostick and the howling sounds of Wolfborne hitting the road for dates across the U.S. of fucking A. this July and August plus two dates in Oh Canada.

Oceano Streaming Full “Ascendants” Album For Non-U.S. Fans

Chicago’s deathcore titans from Oceano have teamed up with French music streaming service Deezer for an exclusive worldwide (excluding USA) pre-stream of new album “Ascendants” a week before the album’s official launch.

If you live anywhere but the United States, stream all of “Ascendants” in its entirety at this location. If you live in the U.S. and are an Oceano fan, well, guess you’re shit out of luck.

“Ascendants” is due to be officially released on Monday, March 23rd in Europe and a day later in the USA. The album was recorded at The Nook studio in New Lenox, Illinois with producer Nick Nativo. The artwork was created by Dusty Peterson.

Abysmal Dawn Posts Second “Obsolesence” Studio Video

Los Angeles based extreme metal band Abysmal Dawn returns with a massive display of refined brutality on fourth full-length “Obsolescence,” due for release on October 28th in North America via Relapse Records.

Throughout the recording of “Obsolescence,” Abysmal Dawn shot a series of videos documenting the process. Today the second video in the series showcasing the guitars is available for viewing below, courtesy of Metal Injection.

In support of “Obsolescence,” Abysmal Dawn will be hitting the road with a handful of headline dates before joining up with Deicide. The headline shows start September 30th in Riverside, CA and go through October 5th in Nashville, TN. The tour with Deicide kicks off October 7th in West Springfield, VA and will run through October 28th in Dallas, TX.

The band has also announced a special listening party on September 28th at The Complex in Glendale, CA. This will be your chance to hear “Obsolescen”e in its entirety before anyone else.
