Victory Heights Wrapping Up Work On New Album

Denver, Colorado band Victory Heights just signed to FM Music Management and has been hard at work finishing up new full-length record, “Nothing Is Beautiful.” which is planned for release during the first half of 2017.

Karl Bagnall, vocalist of Victory Heights, comments: “We had been searching for the right management team for months when we discovered FM and began talking. I felt chemistry with them right out of the gate, and we knew that this was the team.

“We feel very privileged to be working with a team that backs what we do and is passionate about music like we are. We found that a lot of managers are just stacking artists because quantity means more releases and more money. It was refreshing to discover a company that wants to work with us and help us develop our craft and career with focus and genuine care.”

Bob Hathaway, FM Music Management manager, had this to say: “Victory Heights has been making a name for themselves the past few years. We at FM Music Management are excited to be a part of their continued growth. We welcome them to our family.”

While She Sleeps Vocalist Loz Taylor Issues Health Update

Vocalist Lawrence “Loz” Taylor of While She Sleeps has issued the following update about his health and writing for a new album:

“Hey everyone, as many of you know I had an operation a few months ago on my throat. Since then I have been undergoing the necessary procedures to get back to full health so that we can record the rest of our album and play live again.

“Honestly this has been a tough time for me as well as the rest of the guys, I have been forced to make changes to my lifestyle that I’ve never had to make before but its a journey I’ve had to take to protect my voice as much as possible. Its taken a lot of focus and commitment to make sure I’m as healthy as I can be, but I’m happy to say that I’ve been making great progress and I wanted to share that with you guys.

“To keep my mind occupied while not on the road I have been going to see a lot of shows, some of you may have seen me about! But my major focus has been spending time writing for the new While She Sleeps album, we didn’t have this amount of time in the past with all of our touring commitments so it’s something I’m enjoying taking advantage of. It really feels like a huge step forward for us and I’m incredibly excited with how its sounding, I can’t wait for you all to hear it.

“I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone that has been involved in Throat 666 as we call it haha! Also a big thanks to the amazing new people I have met that have helped me , the rest of the lads in the band for all their continued support and mostly to the While She Sleeps fans that have shown that it is more than just a fucking fan base IT’S A FAMILY! See you at download fuckers! We can’t wait to come back!”

“Its been a long 2 years of trying different bands and different styles and more or less I just wanted to finish what I started. I would mainly like to thank Mark for talking to me for the 2 years I was away from the band and keeping me posted on what was going on. It made this choice a lot easier. The new album Descolada will have all of my lyrics on them as to which This Is Revenge did not. This is a new Ender. I’m happy to be back. See you all very soon.”

The band also adds: “We never wanted Joe to leave Ender. When he left, we left the door open for him to return. We are prepping the release of our new EP ‘Descolada’ and are already working on the next record as well. The song ‘SMD’ (Recorded with vocalist John Robert) will get a vocal makeover by Joe and will not feature the old lyrics.
