Varaha Gives Studio Update, Completes Drums on Debut Full-Length Album

Chicago-based atmospheric metal band Varaha is currently recording their first full length album and has provided the following update from the studio:

Cat’s out the bag. Drums are completed for the first full length Varaha album. Everything is sounding great so far. A big thank you to David Swanson for killing it behind the kit this weekend, and to Adam K. Stilson for capturing the sounds at Decade Music Studios… More announcements coming soon, more to come.

Solar Mass Releasing “Pseudomorphosis” Cassette / LP

On October 3rd, Iron Bonehead Productions is proud to present the debut recording of New Zealand’s Solar Mass, titled “Pseudomorphosis” and first to be presented on cassette tape and then 12″ MLP, followed by a CD edition later on.

Opposing Motion Streaming New Album “Laws Of Motion” Sampler

Amocualli Streaming New Single "Too Nii"

Mexican ancestral metal band Amocualli has just launched a new single, “Too Nii,” which will be included on an upcoming release. That song is streaming below. Amocualli creates prehispanic metal utilizing the sounds of the indigenous Tuxpan Jalisco culture that surrounds its native Oaxaca. On this new release, Amocualli plans to use lyrics consisting of the Mixteco language along with the native Nahuatl lyrics they are known for. Amocualli already has one demo, 2007’s “Mahuala Teteo.” Get more updates on their Facebook page.
