Lovebites Reveals New Album, “Clockwork Immortality” Release Date And Artwork

All female Japanese power metal outfit Lovebites has announced that they will release their sophomore full length album, “Clockwork Immortality” on December 5th in Japan this year, with international release dates to be announced soon. The record will feature ten new original songs and will also be available in a limited editions containing a live DVD/Blu Ray, “Battle In The East” which was filmed in Tokyo earlier this year. It will be available in the following formats.

Lacuna Coil Vocalists To Hold “The 119 Show – Live In London” DVD Screening In London

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Lacuna Coil’s debut. To celebrate this special year, they played an exceptional show on January 19th in London at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. The unique, one-time event was filmed and recorded for “The 119 Show – Live In London,” which is scheduled for release on November 9th. Check out a video trailer below.

Fans can look forward not only to a very special live performance that was accompanied by the UK circus group Incandescence, but also to a career spanning set including Lacuna Coil songs never played live before.

Skálmold To Release New Album, “Sorgir,” This Fall

Icelandic Viking metal band SKÁLMÖLD will release their fifth full length album this fall, entitled “Sorgir.” The album title (which translates to “sorrows”) is appropriate for this concept album that is divided in two parts: The first four songs tell four short stories about tragedies and death. It is called Sagnir (tales). The second chapter called Svipir (ghosts) thickens the plot by telling the same four stories from a different perspective.

Ratt Parts Company With Drummer Jimmy DeGrasso

American glam metal veterans Ratt has parted company with drummer Jimmy DeGrasso, according to radio host Eddie Trunk. In a post on Twitter, Trunk said:

“Spoke to Jimmy DeGrasso last night. He is no longer a part of Ratt and opted to move on. Stephen & Juan remain the sole original members. The new guitar players & drummer TBA but likely not in advance of first show.”

DeGrasso had previously been a member of such bands as Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies and Black Star Riders, as well as solo acts like Ozzy Osbourne and David Lee Roth.
