For a one time fee of $150 you can:

1. Work alongside the crew — who presumably brings tons of gear into the venue and sets up the stage for the band every day on tour.
2. Stand side-stage during Suicide Silence’s show — for optimal sound quality.
3. An exclusive Suicrew t-shirt that says “get the fuck out of my way” on the back of it.
4. A laminated piece of paper that shows everyone you were a roadie for a day.
5. Food with the crew — meaning you get a lunch break while working for the band, as recommended by the US Department of Labor.
6. You get to “mingle with the band” during soundcheck.

Sharptooth Premieres Title Track From Upcoming New Album “Clever Girl”

Sharptooth premieres the title track of the band’s upcoming new album “Clever Girl”, which will be out in stores on October 27 via Pure Noise Records.

Check out now “Clever Girl” below.

Comments vocalist Lauren Kashan of the song:

“‘Clever Girl‘ the track is all about aggressively fighting back against the hands that chain us. It’s about ‘biting back’ against oppression of all forms, be that by people in your life, in your society, or systemic forms of oppression like sexism, racism and bigotry. The song was inspired by an argument I had with a guy who tried to tell me and a bunch of other women (many of us survivors of sexual assault) about how WE should feel about sexual violence. And all I could think in that moment was SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP because this person had absolutely no right to speak on the subject, let alone talk down to us. I think anyone can relate to the experience of having someone who has no idea what they’re talking about, either trying to talk down to you or control you. This is a call to arms for any and all marginalized people for our voices to be heard and for everyone else to take this time to simply listen.”

Explains drummer Joshua Ward:

“‘Ghost Walkers Exodus‘ is a metal opera in itself. It is both a tactic and the experience of traversing the odd and hellish lands they are trapped in. Soul Demise Inks Deal With Apostasy Records

Soul Demise just announced the signing of a new record deal with none other than Apostay Records and the label had this to say:

“Melodic death metal that never loses its brutal attitude between all melodies. Since 1993, this is the trademark of Soul Demise and the quintet from Bavaria (Germany) is also never afraid of looking for further musical influences.

“Especially the album ‘Sindustry’ showed a huge amount of variety which was a result of the experience they gained over the years and during their shows alongside acts like Vader, Krisiun, Dismember and Napalm Death. We are proud to finally unveil the follow-up as the new label-home of the band!”

Child Bite Streaming New Track “Born A Hog”

Child Bite’s “Negative Noise” full-length will see release next month via Housecore Records, and today new track “Born A Hog” is spewed forth.

“‘Born A Hog” is about how much it would suck to be born a hog,” considers vocalist Shawn Knight. “I eat my fair share of bacon, but I can’t help keeping in mind where it comes from. Interesting how we choose certain animals to eat and others to pamper. I’ve got two pet dogs, but I also eat bacon. Kinda fucked up when you think about it. Thinking too much about anything can ruin the experience, but I believe that the least I can do for that pig is to make myself feel a little guilty while I’m eating him. We were stoked to get a real pig on the track too; you can hear sweet Lucy squealing at the very end of the song.”

The perpetually road-bound noise rock misfits will also play shows next month opening for the mighty Voivod alongside labelmates King Parrot with additional onstage debauchery to be announced in the coming weeks.

Cloak And Dagger Releasing “Balance” New EP

Perth’s Cloak And Dagger is excited to release a new track from forthcoming Imminence Records’ debut “Balance.” Check out the title track below.

The six track EP also features a re-recorded version of the band’s “Stay Gold” single and is slated to be released this spring. Guitarist Oliver Royer comments:

“When we were finding the right producer for the record it was very important to us that we find the perfect fit for us as a band and as people. We considered a few options but at the end of the day only Matt at Templeman Audio and Simon at Forensic Audio Mastering could deliver exactly what we wanted.

“Most of the tracks had been finished in the months leading up to the studio so that we could really refine their sound and focus in on what was strong about them before entering the studio. Matt definitely had the experience and knowledge necessary to really make our ideas come to life and also bring his own ideas to the table.”

Krisiun Streams New Track “Scars Of Hatred”

Krisiun just released “Scars Of Hatred” from upcoming album “Forged In Fury,” due out worldwide via Century Media Records on August 7th, 2015.

The album will be available as a limited edition digipak including two bonus tracks as well as a woven patch, and 180g gatefold 2 LP edition with etching (including the album on CD) and as a digital download.

“Forged In Fury” was produced by Erik Rutan and the stunning cover artwork was created by renowned artist Joe Petagno. Krisiun comments:

“[The album] marks our return to the studio after 3 years of constantly touring all over the globe. Things were working well as we were always satisfied with the results of the previous records, but we thought that it was time for a change. Erik Rutan was the chosen one to be the producer, at Mana Recording Studios in Florida.

“This album could be described as a ‘more natural’ sounding album; the songs came out with more ambience and more low-end, making it sound even more brutal and straight-forward. It took us a lot of hard work and dedication, no fashions or tendencies were followed, this is a true relentless metal album to the bone, with a huge, natural sound. The song writing captures all the experience and feelings we gathered thru all the years of touring and recording, it has more variation and dynamics, but is still 100% Krisiun.

“Erik has a huge participation within the whole process, especially with regards to the band’s performance. He was able to get the best out of each one of us, as we have been friends for a long time, so it was a pleasure working with him. This album was made with a lot of heart and passion for metal music. Hopefully you metal maniacs enjoy it as much as we did working it out.”

Triptykon Posts New Album Update, Reveals New Song Titles

Triptykon, the band formed by former Hellhammer and Celtic Frost mastermind, Tom G. Warrior, has confirmed that they are currently at work on their new studio album, which will be their first since their debut, “Eparistera Daimones,” which was released in 2010. In a new online post, Tom Warrior has revealed some of the song titles which are expected to appear on the band’s sophomore effort, as well as some other details. His message reads as follows:

“Triptykon’s current rehearsal and arrangement sessions for the forthcoming second album sound sweepingly heavy, epic, and dark. And utterly diverse. Such music – and, indeed, the experience of creating it – is deeply alluring, even addictive.

“The path leading to this point has been unexpectedly long and extremely challenging, even if for reasons largely unrelated to the group. And yet, we are reminded every time we meet why we have persisted. Love Triptykon or feel profound hatred for us, but this group sounds like no other – except the two from which we have arisen.

“It will still be a few months until the music that is ‘Daemon’, ‘Into Despair’, ‘Sycophant’, ‘Boleskine House’, ‘Tree Of Suffocated Souls’, and many more, will be committed to the album proper. But having progressed, finally, so far into the process in this manner is moving beyond description.”
