Dee Snider Posts New Music Video “Lies Are A Business” Online

Former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider has posted a new music video online for the song, “Lies Are A Business.” You can check it out below. The song is the sixth from his “For The Love Of Metal” to receive the music video treatment. Speaking about the song, Snider stated:

“The socio-political message of ‘Lies Are A Business’ is more important at this moment in time than ever before. The movement toward more controlling, all-powerful governments continues to grow and the current nightmarish situation in Venezuela is emblematic of the direction our world is sadly heading in. The incredible video for this song by award winning director Leo Liberti of Liberta Filmes truly captures my message with powerful metaphoric imagery while taking nothing away from the metallic power of the song!”

Comments drummer Dave Haley:

“‘Upon These Stones‘ is one of the darker songs on the album and it developed into a very unique song for us. It’s is a lot slower than our ‘usual’ pace; but still very heavy and somewhat ‘brooding’. We are excited by the direction it took our sound in and can’t wait to show it to our fans! It’s very different and that’s why chose it as on of the singles.”

Tarlung Streams “Beyond The Black Pyramid” Album

Austrian group Tarlung released new album “Beyond The Black Pyramid” on May 5th, 2017 via Black Bow Records. You can stream the full release below, or get your own copy at Bandcamp here. The following press release was also issued:

“Dense and suffocating, Tarlung’s music crawls along ponderously, squeezing the life out of its listeners. This kind of expression in sludge is rarely done but ends up being most satisfying.

“The riffs command the direction, as within the mire of the deafening sludge you have catchy hooks and memorable tunes. Influences from closely related genres such as death metal and even stoner doom coalesce to form their monolithic sound. Listen to one of the heaviest albums in this style and quiver under its might.”

Grave Desecrator Streams Full “Dust To Lust” Album

Cult death/black metal horde Grave Desecrator is streaming vicious forthcoming full-length album “Dust to Lust” online in full.

“Dust to Lust” features a cover by artist Zbigniew Bielak and will be released by Season of Mist worldwide on July 1st. Regarding the new album, Élson “El” Necrogoat comments:

“We consider ‘Dust to Lust’ to be our most defying and tough album so far. This is the direction that we intend to follow in future. We worked under the same paradigm as before, but enhanced with antagonist and blasphemous grit, which is fueled by spiritual and carnal truths about our existence.

“The miasmal scent of addictive terror that feeds our content is reflected in a sense of cruel reality permeating these compositions. Do not expect reflections of disguised maturity and evolution! Experience the abyssal revelations clawed straight from the delights of Brazilian and South American horror core!”

After offering up a Ramone’s cover back in June, Portugal’s based trio Machinergy now announces the writing for a new record has began.

“We are really looking forward to start shaping the new songs, new ideas. The third album is important, is where you establish your style, your sound,” says Rui Vieira [vocals and guitar].

About the direction of the new material, Rui unveils a little more: “We want to introduce new dynamics, new sounds and ambiances in our music. The drafts we’re working on, already denote some personality and individuality between them. I think there will be some (good) surprises!”

Machinergy has so far released two studio albums, “Rhythmotion” [2010] and “Sounds Evolution” [2014]. About a date to release the new record, Rui states: “2016 will be the year of our tenth anniversary, so it would be nice we could make it on time, but it’s early to know that.”
