New Album “Claiming Supremacy” Detailed By Game Over

Italian thrash metal heroes Game Over are going to release the new album “Claiming Supremacy” on November 17th via Scarlet Records.

Following the widely successful “Crimes Against Reality” and the “Blessed Are The Heretics” EP, which confirmed the band as one of the most promising metal acts in Europe and among the NWoTM best, “Claiming Supremacy” is without any doubt the band’s most mature album so far.

Inspired by the classic Bay Area thrash metal scene of the 80’s, Game Over mixes those influences with modern sounds and a very distinctive personality. “Claiming Supremacy” is the perfect combination of the band’s furious riffing, hardcore attitude and classic metal influences, with very obscure lyrics and, of course, those anthemic choruses that fans recognize as a band trademark.

Overall the album is heavier, faster and ruthless than ever. Lyrics vary from B-movie scenarios to social-political themes, science fiction, mythology and history. The album has been mixed and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust), who has previously worked with Midnight, SunnO))), Poison Idea, Integrityand many more. “Claiming Supremacy,” which will be released in Japan by Marquee, will also be available in a vinyl version limited to 500 copies.

The cover artwork (shown below) was handled by acclaimed artist Mario E. Lopez (Evil Invaders, Impalers, Hyades). The track list is as follows:

1. Onward To Blackness
2. Two Steps Into The Shadows
3. Last Before The End
4. My Private Nightmare
5. Blessed Are The Heretics
6. Eleven
7. Broken Trails
8. Shattered Souls
9. Lysander
10. Show Me What You Got

Inquisition Streaming “Vortex From The Celestial Flying Throne Of Storms”

Inquisition has premiered a third crushing new track off the absurdly titled “Bloodshed Across The Empyrean Altar Beyond The Celestial Zenith.”

The new song, featuring equally obnoxious title “Vortex From The Celestial Flying Throne Of Storms,” is now streaming below. Regarding the new track, guitarist/vocalist Dagon (which is really too short a name, if you ask me) comments:

“In the universe where order within disorder mirror the struggle of two astral gods, serpent versus eagle as they battle upon their thrones for the supremacy of quantum mechanic laws, a vortex left behind their war thrones sets motion to death portals within our stellar black ocean generating a cosmic whirlpool of infinite movement and renewal at every level consuming all matter and light.”

Analepsy Streaming “Dehumanization By Supremacy” Album

Analepsy’s “Dehumanization By Supremacy” is out now via Rotten Cemetery Records, and can be picked up in digital or physical formats through Bandcamp here. The full album is also available for streaming below, while the following press release was issued:

“Brutal death metal has basically stood for evolution. It’s the next-gen death metal and veritably so. As long as the essence is retained, there’s nothing wrong with it. Suffocation did it about 25 years back. It’s time we accept the style for what it offers.

“Analepsy from Portugal is keeping it slick, slammy and wicked – while not abandoning the Putrid Pile crossed with Disgorge template. It’s the next level in ultra brutality. It’s the kind of music that slaughters people standing. It’s like an alien-attack on the masses – it sure sounds like that. Resistance is futile.

“This one makes bands like Devourment seem ancient. It’s that kind of sci-fi next-gen brutality that just leaves you agape. It’s for the fans of Abominable Putridity, 7.H Target and Disgorge with blinding speed, roaring mechanized slams and indecipherable alien vocals. Analepsy delivers without relying on undue hype and attractive artworks – it’s a real gem, making its way up, slicing everyone, torching them passive with its sheer prowess and incisive output.”

1. Neo-Born Virus 00:51
2. Colossal Human Consumption 02:12
3. Genetic Mutations 03:47
4. Worm Putrefaction 02:28
5. Post-Incubation Period 03:07
6. Lethal Injection 03:04
7. Viral Disease 03:15
8. Food For The Maggots (Putrid Pile Cover) 03:24
