Details Of Impending New Album “To Starve The Cross” Issued By Ghoulgotha

Southern California’s Ghoulgotha have re-emerged from the depths to announce the impending release of the new album “To Starve the Cross.” Dark Descent Records will unleash this monster June 13th on CD and digital formats with vinyl treatment coming soon after.

“To Starve the Cross” was mixed and mastered by Damian Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studios with artwork by Mattias Frisk.

The band’s 2015 debut – “The Deathmass Cloak” – was praised by critics for its demented re-visioning of doom-infused, old-school death metal. “To Starve the Cross” sees Ghoulgotha twist an already abstract reality into forms never before experienced.

The band issued a video for album track “The Sulfur Age” which can be viewed in the player below.

The track list for the album is:

1. Village of Flickering Torches
2. Pangaea Reforms
3. The Sulphur Age
4. Abyssic Eyes
5. A Lord in the Shattered Mirror
6. Damp Breeze of Sleeping Veins
7. Visceral Seas
8. Thou, Beneath Ligaments Foul
9. Wounds Immaculate
10. A Holy Book Scribed by Wolves

Gomorrah Posts New Song “Nine Kings Of Sulphur”

Kelowna, BC’s death metal architects from Gomorrah just premiered new single “Nine Kings of Sulphur,” taken off upcoming album “The Haruspex.” Check it out below.

The new album is due out on January 15th, 2016 via Test Your Metal Records to follow the band’s 2013 debut album “Perception.” Vocalist Jeff Bryan comments on the new track:

“‘Nine Kings of Sulphur’ was the second last track we wrote for the record and it written very impromptu. We didn’t do many revisions of it and I did all the vocals freestyle in the studio, but the finished product makes me want to heave a body into a chasm.”

Gomorrah also recently checked in with us to share a hilarious pit story about the weird things fans do at live shows – give it a read right here.
