Fault Lines Posts “Such Is Life” EP Online

After dropping lead single “Equal Parts” that features Silent Planet vocalist Garrett Russel, metalcore outfit Fault Lines is now streaming the entire “Such Is Life” EP online.

This full stream also marks the official release of “Such Is Life” today. Listen in below, courtesy of HM Magazine. Vocalist Corey Pettit comments:

“This EP is a collection of songs that open up a dialogue about various feelings or things that we as humans have to deal with in our lives, that aren’t exactly positive. We didn’t want to sugar-coat the content so a lot of it comes off as cynical or melancholy, but it’s honest which is what we were going for.

“The release deals with addiction, anxiety, fighting complacency and a few other subjects that are harsh realities of the world we live in. We hope that you find some solace in knowing that you are not alone in these issues and that you can get through it. That’s the main idea of this EP… You will get past it and move on, and it’s worth it to.”

New Album “The Chant Of Husks” Detailed By Underwell

Italian post hardcore act Underwell have unveiled their details on the upcoming new album “The Chant Of Husks.” The album is targeted for an autumn 2014 release via Wormholedeath and will be available as a special edition digipack and digital download.

The band commented: “The new album is the logical evolution of Plan your Rebirth. As we grew up , our sound and the subjects we treat with our music, followed the same process. The concept of the rebirth was recovered and analyzed through a more personal point of view. The sound is a mix of flashbacks from the 70s, really sick dissonances and greater care in the arrangements.”

The track list for the album is:

1. Easy Escape (see music video)
2. Deformation of the Social Scale
3. Long Lost Photograph
4. Dark Soul
5. Path Of Fire
6. Charging Darkness
7. The Arsonist
