Cryptopsy To Perform “None So Vile” In Full On Devastation Of The Nation Tour

In celebration of the twentieth anniversary of “None So Vile,” Cryptopsy will be bringing the entirety of that album to the masses as part of the third annual “Devastation On The Nation” tour, which kicks off this coming May. The following press release was issued about the trek:

“Before there was Cryptospy, there was a never-ending void of nothingness. Just as existence exploded onto the scene some 13.8 billion years ago, the year 1996 saw the birth of technical death metal delivered at bewildering and perplexing-yet-proficient velocities. This was the year of ‘NONE SO VILE.’ As that now-classic title implies, there had yet to be – and never will be – None. So. Vile.

“From the terrifying roar of opener ‘Crown Of Horns,’ to the Army Of Darkness-procured sound clip of closer ‘Orgiastic Disembowelment,’ audiences will be pummeled into submission with all 32 minutes of this Northern Hyperblasting slab of extremity.

“Joining Cryptospy is a who’s who of brute-tech force, which includes tech-death legends Decrepit Birth, Rivers Of Nihil, The Zenith Passage, The Kennedy Veil, and Visceral Disgorge. Rounding out this cataclysmic assemblage are musical extremists Seeker and GLoom.”

Lyric Video For “In The Void” Issued By Veonity

Swedish power metal band Veonity issued a new single and lyric video for “In the Void.” The song is the title track of the upcoming second studio album set for release on September 23rd via Sliptrick Records.

“Into The Void” is a concept album best described as a dystopic, futuristic space saga about the earth, dying due to mankind’s greed and a lonely man who escapes into space. The album was produced Ronny Milianowicz (Shadowquest, ex Dionysus) at Studio Seven and mastered at Jens Bogrenís Studio, Fascination Street Recording Studios in Orebro, Sweden. The idea was to create a genuine and powerful sound that would bring out the best of Veonityís energetic, glorious and guitar driven power metal.
