New Live Album “The Further Live Adventures Of…” Announced By

Down ‘n’ Outz is pleased to announce the release of a brand new live album “The Further Live Adventures Of…” on December 1st, via Frontiers Music Srl. The live album, recorded in Sheffield Corporation in December 2014, will be available 2CD/DVD, Blu-ray, vinyl and digital. In addition, on the same day, the band will reissue the previous records “My Re-Generation” and “The Further Adventures Of…” on CD, LP and Digital.

Down ‘N’ Outz is the project founded and fronted by Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott and backed by members of The Quireboys, Wayward Sons and Raw Glory. The band pays tribute to rock legends Mott The Hoople and was established from the most unusual of circumstances…in the words of Joe Elliott: “When Mott The Hoople announced they were reforming for a week’s worth of shows at the Hammersmith Odeon I was asked that I participate in some capacity. They’ve always been my favourite band and it’s nice to see the rest of the rock world finally catch up and give them their due.”

“But, what was I to do? It was suggested to me that the Quireboys would be up for offering their services. This was perfect! A fan since their first album, I loved the idea of working with a band as enthusiastic to do this as I was. I decided that the thing to do was play some songs that like-minded people thought they would never hear live again, if ever, songs by spin offs of Mott the Hoople – songs by Mott, Ian Hunter and British Lions. Songs that are close to my heart, songs that I’ve played every week for the best part of 35 years on record, cassette, CD, iPod and now live.”

Down ‘N Outz supported Mott The Hoople at one of the legendary 2009 reformation shows at Hammersmith Odeon. Following a rapturous reception, the one night project took on a life and energy of its own and an album project was born.

The band then decided to record an album “My Re-Generation,” which was produced by Elliott and Ronan McHugh (Def Leppard), which was recorded in Elliott’s personal studio with basic tracking done at Moor Hall studio Bedfordshire by engineer Chris Corney. The album featured entirely covers of songs by artists related to Mott the Hoople, such as Mott, British Lions and Ian Hunter.

The band made an appearance at the 2010 High Voltage Festival in the UK, launched its own branded beer, and also announced it would be performing with Paul Rodgers in April 2011 as the opening act on the latter’s UK tour.

On April 21, 2014, Down ‘n’ Outz released the second studio album, “The Further Adventures Of…”

In addition to Joe Elliott (Vocals/Guitar/Keyboards), the band features The Quireboys’ Paul Guerin (Guitar), Guy Griffin (Guitar), Keith Weir (keyboards), drummer Phil Martini (Wayward Sons) and bassist Share Ross (Vixen).

Details Of Sophomore Album “Hot Wired Beat” Posted By Hard Action

Finnish hard rock act Hard Action’s debut album, “Sinister Vibes” (2015), was an unexpected underground success with its buzzsaw-guitar caveman brand of action rock, taking the band to several tours across Europe. Their second album, “Hot Wired Beat,” is set for international release December 1st via Svart Records. Check out the first single “Nothing Ever Changed” in the player below.

The Hard Action of today is a slightly older, more street-smart, tighter bunch of hairy youngsters. “Hot Wired Beat” boils with the hot blood of youth, but its better musicianship and production values give room for certain more traditional aspects of rock music, such as melody and hooks. Tradition is the key here in other respects, too: at times, the record channels the spirit of the early ’70s Rolling Stones; at others, it sounds not unlike something Hanoi Rocks could’ve recorded early on.

On “Hot Wired Beat,” Hard Action succeed in being both youthfully reckless and smooth, like scenes of violent street fights set to classic Fleetwood Mac albums. Expect to see the band live at an underground joint near you in 2018.

The track listing for “Hot Wired Beat” is:

1. Free Fall
2. Nothing Ever Changed
3. Hostile Street
4. The Losing Side
5. Running Start
6. Tied Down
7. Knocked Down, Dragged Out
8. May
9. Tunnel Vision

New Album “Impervious” Streaming In Full From Mason

New Noise Magazine teamed up with Australian thrash act Mason to bring you the stream of the entire new album “Impervious” a day ahead of its release on October 6th over at this location. The album is also conveniently streaming in the player below.

Crushing audiences across the globe with their driving force and energetic stage presence, Melbourne’s Mason delivers a commanding performance that has taken the band on tours across Australia and beyond in Asia, Europe plus Canada where the band even shared the stage with the likes of Harlott, Havok, Accept, Revocation, Mutank and Annihilator.

Drawing influences from ‘The Big Four’ and Bay Area thrash greats, Mason encapsulates the 80’s thrash sound mixed with fast tempos and a dominating rhythm section. The second full length “Impervious” features nine glorious thrashing tracks mixed and mastered by Erin Hamidovic (Devin Townsend Project, Sikth, Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Elm Street).

Vocalist/guitarist Jimmy Benson comments: “During the demo process we wrote a lot of material, but the majority made the ‘Impervious’ album minus one or two songs. We spent a lot of time fine tuning the songs and making sure they kicked ass! For this album, we focused mainly on trimming the fat and stepping up the energy and tempos. Fast, focused and heavy! For those wanting to know more about this release. ‘Impervious’ touches on so many topics from suicide, death, terrorism and more events that happen to people around the world. When ya look at the front cover, it is a symbol of character and strength of a boy that goes about his everyday life in the worst conditions and does what is normal to him to get by day to day. To sum it up, this new album is powerful and holds a strong message from start to finish.”

The album track list is:

1. Eligos (0:29)
2. Burn (3:30)
3. Tears of Tragedy (4:05)
4. The Afterlife (5:13)
5. Impervious (4:48)
6. Cross This Path (3:26)
7. Sacrificed (4:11)
8. Hellbent on Chaos (3:54)
9. Created To Kill (6:29)

Street Symphonies Records Inks Deal With Aerodyne

Street Symphonies Records is proud to welcome Swedish hard rockers Aerodyne to its roster.

Aerodyne is what happens when two of the leading local bands in Gothenburg, Sweden, collide head first. Formed back in January 2016, the Scandinavian combo is now finally ready to bring powerful hard rock to the world.

With heavy riffs and memorable choruses, it’s hard to not bang your head and sing along. The first EP and music video “Old Flames Die Hard” were released in June 2016, receiving great feedback from rock fans all over the world. Although the rock scene of Gothenburg is fairly dormant, Aerodyne is in no need for a rest: in early 2017, the band entered the studios to record the full length debut album “Breaking Free,” which is scheduled for a winter release on Street Symphonies Records/Burning Minds Music Group. With visions of world tours to spread the music to every last rock fan in the world, Aerodyne is here to stay.

All Four Members Of Decapitated Accused Of Gang Raping A Girl On Their Tour Bus

Recently released court documents reveal disturbing details in Decapitated’s recent arrest. As reported earlier past week all four members of the band, Michal Lysejko, 27; Waclaw Kieltyka, 35; Rafal Piotrowski, 31; and Hubert Wiecek, 30, were arrested on September 09th after the band’s show in Santa Ana, CA with a potential charge of first degree kidnapping.

The charges stemmed from an incident which took place following the band’s August 31st show at “The Pin” in Spokane, WA. As it turns out, all four band members have now not just been accused of holding a female against her will, but also gang raping her on band’s tour bus, while also sexually assaulting the victim’s friend.

Spokesman.com have provided the following summary of the court documents that were revealed:

“The women said they ended up speaking with members of Decapitated and were invited to have drinks in the tour bus parked outside the venue, according to court documents. One woman “described being excited to be on the bus, and then one of the band members began grabbing her breasts,” court documents say. “He was later identified as the drummer, Michal Lysejko.”

The same woman “was uncomfortable and said the band members began speaking to each other in Polish,” court documents say. “She described the ‘vibe’ in the bus changed, and one of the members began looking at them like they were prey.”

The woman said she looked at her friend “to signal they needed to get out of there.” She then used the bathroom and was followed by the lead singer, Piotrowski, according to court documents. The woman told police Piotrowski began kissing her as she finished using the bathroom, and she began resisting when he started undoing her belt, according to court documents. She said she wanted to leave the bus with her friend, but a band member indicated her friend had already left, saying, “You have to have fun. She left you.”

The woman “attempted to push Piotrowski away but he grabbed her arm and spun her around to where she was facing the sink and mirror in the bathroom,” court documents say. “She saw in the mirror and out of the corner of her eye each of the band members taking turns raping her.”

The friend, meanwhile, said she watched the band members rape the other woman, and Piotrowski asked her to perform oral sex on him. When the friend refused, court documents say, “she was pushed to the ground and received bruises to her knees and shins.”

Shortly after leaving the tour bus and driving away, at 12:43 p.m., the friend was pulled over on North Washington Street near West Boone Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to court documents.

In the back seat of a patrol car, the friend was allowed to use her cellphone to call the other woman, who reported the rape. A state trooper said he couldn’t help without a specific location and proceeded with his DUI investigation.

The alleged victim “described her body as feeling broken,” court documents say. “After an unknown amount of time,” she told police, “Waclaw (Kieltyka) helped her put her clothing on and carried her out of the bus with another male.”

She walked north from The Pin and called several family members before calling 911, according to court documents. An officer found her near North Post Street and West Buckeye Avenue, about 2 miles from the venue. The officer also stopped by The Pin and “checked the area for the tour bus, but the band had already left Spokane for their next venue.”

The woman was taken to Providence Holy Family Hospital for a sexual assault examination.

Detectives noted she had “significant bruising to her upper arms consistent with being restrained” and “small abrasions to her knuckles that were scabbed over.” During the rape, she said, she “was digging her fist into the wall to try and distract herself from what was happening.”

Court documents say detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office interviewed the band members on Thursday.

Lysejko, the drummer, “made no comment other than he did not know who the girls were” when shown a picture of them. “He said he would not talk without using a translator,” court documents say.

Kieltyka, the lead guitarist, told detectives he saw both Piotrowski and Wiecek engaged in a sex acts with the woman in the bathroom. He agreed to have a DNA swab collected as evidence.

Piotrowski “admitted there was a party on the bus and (the women) were present. He then requested an attorney and a translator refusing to make any further statements,” court documents say. He declined to give a DNA sample.

Wiecek, the bassist, admitted the women had been on the bus, but said he “sat on the couch and did not see what was going on,” court documents say. “He then said he needed a translator so he did not misspeak. He also said no one was forced to get on the bus. He then said he did not recall what happened.”

Wiecek also declined to give a DNA sample.

A fifth man, Wojciech Cichocki, told detectives he was asleep in the cab of the tour bus and never saw the woman who reported being raped. Cichocki said he “only briefly” saw the friend who was later pulled over. “He also made a reference to (her) Instagram account but would not elaborate on it,” court documents say.”

All four members remain in custody in a Los Angeles County jail awaiting extradition to Spokane, WA. The band’s attorney Steve Graham had previously stated: “There is another side to this. We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit band of her own free will and left on good terms.”

In light of the most recent accusations now being made public, he commented: “Decapitated plan to fully fight the allegations that are brought against them, and we are fully confident that the other side of this story will be heard.”

He declined to comment further.
