Street Symphonies Records Inks Deal With Aerodyne

Street Symphonies Records is proud to welcome Swedish hard rockers Aerodyne to its roster.

Aerodyne is what happens when two of the leading local bands in Gothenburg, Sweden, collide head first. Formed back in January 2016, the Scandinavian combo is now finally ready to bring powerful hard rock to the world.

With heavy riffs and memorable choruses, it’s hard to not bang your head and sing along. The first EP and music video “Old Flames Die Hard” were released in June 2016, receiving great feedback from rock fans all over the world. Although the rock scene of Gothenburg is fairly dormant, Aerodyne is in no need for a rest: in early 2017, the band entered the studios to record the full length debut album “Breaking Free,” which is scheduled for a winter release on Street Symphonies Records/Burning Minds Music Group. With visions of world tours to spread the music to every last rock fan in the world, Aerodyne is here to stay.

Stay tuned for more information.

All Four Members Of Decapitated Accused Of Gang Raping A Girl On Their Tour Bus

Recently released court documents reveal disturbing details in Decapitated’s recent arrest. As reported earlier past week all four members of the band, Michal Lysejko, 27; Waclaw Kieltyka, 35; Rafal Piotrowski, 31; and Hubert Wiecek, 30, were arrested on September 09th after the band’s show in Santa Ana, CA with a potential charge of first degree kidnapping.

The charges stemmed from an incident which took place following the band’s August 31st show at “The Pin” in Spokane, WA. As it turns out, all four band members have now not just been accused of holding a female against her will, but also gang raping her on band’s tour bus, while also sexually assaulting the victim’s friend.

Spokesman.com have provided the following summary of the court documents that were revealed:

“The women said they ended up speaking with members of Decapitated and were invited to have drinks in the tour bus parked outside the venue, according to court documents. One woman “described being excited to be on the bus, and then one of the band members began grabbing her breasts,” court documents say. “He was later identified as the drummer, Michal Lysejko.”

The same woman “was uncomfortable and said the band members began speaking to each other in Polish,” court documents say. “She described the ‘vibe’ in the bus changed, and one of the members began looking at them like they were prey.”

The woman said she looked at her friend “to signal they needed to get out of there.” She then used the bathroom and was followed by the lead singer, Piotrowski, according to court documents. The woman told police Piotrowski began kissing her as she finished using the bathroom, and she began resisting when he started undoing her belt, according to court documents. She said she wanted to leave the bus with her friend, but a band member indicated her friend had already left, saying, “You have to have fun. She left you.”

The woman “attempted to push Piotrowski away but he grabbed her arm and spun her around to where she was facing the sink and mirror in the bathroom,” court documents say. “She saw in the mirror and out of the corner of her eye each of the band members taking turns raping her.”

The friend, meanwhile, said she watched the band members rape the other woman, and Piotrowski asked her to perform oral sex on him. When the friend refused, court documents say, “she was pushed to the ground and received bruises to her knees and shins.”

Shortly after leaving the tour bus and driving away, at 12:43 p.m., the friend was pulled over on North Washington Street near West Boone Avenue on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to court documents.

In the back seat of a patrol car, the friend was allowed to use her cellphone to call the other woman, who reported the rape. A state trooper said he couldn’t help without a specific location and proceeded with his DUI investigation.

The alleged victim “described her body as feeling broken,” court documents say. “After an unknown amount of time,” she told police, “Waclaw (Kieltyka) helped her put her clothing on and carried her out of the bus with another male.”

She walked north from The Pin and called several family members before calling 911, according to court documents. An officer found her near North Post Street and West Buckeye Avenue, about 2 miles from the venue. The officer also stopped by The Pin and “checked the area for the tour bus, but the band had already left Spokane for their next venue.”

The woman was taken to Providence Holy Family Hospital for a sexual assault examination.

Detectives noted she had “significant bruising to her upper arms consistent with being restrained” and “small abrasions to her knuckles that were scabbed over.” During the rape, she said, she “was digging her fist into the wall to try and distract herself from what was happening.”

Court documents say detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office interviewed the band members on Thursday.

Lysejko, the drummer, “made no comment other than he did not know who the girls were” when shown a picture of them. “He said he would not talk without using a translator,” court documents say.

Kieltyka, the lead guitarist, told detectives he saw both Piotrowski and Wiecek engaged in a sex acts with the woman in the bathroom. He agreed to have a DNA swab collected as evidence.

Piotrowski “admitted there was a party on the bus and (the women) were present. He then requested an attorney and a translator refusing to make any further statements,” court documents say. He declined to give a DNA sample.

Wiecek, the bassist, admitted the women had been on the bus, but said he “sat on the couch and did not see what was going on,” court documents say. “He then said he needed a translator so he did not misspeak. He also said no one was forced to get on the bus. He then said he did not recall what happened.”

Wiecek also declined to give a DNA sample.

A fifth man, Wojciech Cichocki, told detectives he was asleep in the cab of the tour bus and never saw the woman who reported being raped. Cichocki said he “only briefly” saw the friend who was later pulled over. “He also made a reference to (her) Instagram account but would not elaborate on it,” court documents say.”

All four members remain in custody in a Los Angeles County jail awaiting extradition to Spokane, WA. The band’s attorney Steve Graham had previously stated: “There is another side to this. We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit band of her own free will and left on good terms.”

In light of the most recent accusations now being made public, he commented: “Decapitated plan to fully fight the allegations that are brought against them, and we are fully confident that the other side of this story will be heard.”

He declined to comment further.

Thousand Below Premieres New Song “Sinking Me” From Forthcoming New Album

Metalcore outfit Thousand Below premieres a new song entitled “Sinking Me”, taken from the forthcoming new album, which will be out later this year via Rise Records.

Check out now “Sinking Me” below.

Comments frontman James Deberg :

“We’re so incredibly excited to be releasing our music video for ‘Sinking Me‘ as the second single off our album. ‘Sinking Me‘ is the opening track of our record and we wanted to set the emotional tone for the album right out the gate with a high energy song that that lived on the ‘heavier’ spectrum of the record, but also carried heavy lyrical content. The song is the introduction to the emotional descent that the album is about. Part of the lyrics in the first verse say, ‘Coming to terms with the reality of a broken spine / Cost of the weight of the world / Unsure If I can hold it all up and buy some time.’ It’s the first immediate awareness of myself ‘going-under’ metaphorically as a result of the emotional stress that came from the losses I experienced in my life two years before the album was created. The clean vocals are much more aggressive on this song than others on the record. I wanted to paint the immediate pain and frustration of the loss I experienced pulling me under right out the gate, while also giving listeners something high energy and catchy to yell along with. We feel ‘Tradition‘ and ‘Sinking Me‘ are great introductory songs for our band to come out the gate with and we’re so excited to get the rest of the record released before the end of the year.”

The band will soon be out on “The Nightlife In Revolt Tour” with Youth In Revolt, Light Up The Sky and Vesta Collide as support. Dates for that run include:

06/15 Detroit, MI – The Ritz

New Self-Titled Album Detailed By Alpha Tiger

An old rule says that musicians usually write their best material when they leave all commercial considerations; market analyses and the public’s supposed expectations aside and simply follow their innermost artistic instinct. Which is precisely how Alpha Tiger from Freiberg in Saxony went about writing and recording the most recent oeuvre, and the result is an offering that’s as impressive as it is surprising: the latest, self-titled release sounds rock-oriented and melodic, anthemic and diverse, and – thanks to its completely analogue production – wonderfully organic. “This is the album that I’ve always wanted to make,” explains Peter Langforth, the band’s guitarist and songwriter. “It’s definitely our most mature and grown-up release to date.”

Mind you, the omens didn’t seem to bide all that well, seeing that Alpha Tiger had to come to terms with the departure of their previous vocalist immediately after the completion of the 2015 album “iDentity.” Luckily the short, intense search via social media produced the solution to the problem, a kind of singing savior named Benjamin Jaino.

Jaino joined Alpha Tiger in summer 2015 and immediately underwent a real endurance test: without much time for preparations, he found himself performing live on stage alongside his new colleagues Langforth, Alexander Backasch (guitar), Dirk Frei (bass) and David Schleif (drums) only a few weeks after his enlistment, supporting Alpha Tiger shortly afterwards on their joint European tour with Battle Beast. “This way, Benjamin had already fifty shows with us under his belt when we started working on the new album. So we knew what to do to make the new material suit his voice,” Langforth describes the challenge that the band faced and praises the new band member’s commitment: “Benjamin identifies totally with Alpha Tiger and delivered an awesome performance at the studio. His vocals are full of emotion, he literally screamed his heart out.”

“Alpha Tiger” will be available at physical and digital stores from August 25th on CD Digi (+ poster), 2LP plus CD, download and stream, before that the new digital single and video for “Comatose” will be released by the end of June.

The album was recorded and mixed by Richard Behrens, guest musicians were organist Johannes Walenta and Berlin bands Street Hawk and Space Chaser (the choir vocals on ´My Dear Old Friend` & ´Singularity`). “It had always been my dream to record an album totally analogue with a real tape machine,” confesses Langforth, who struck lucky at Berlin’s Big Snuff Studio. “We’d rehearsed the material ad nauseam beforehand and then recorded all basic tracks practically live. This way, we’ve come up with a record that we’re all totally happy with and that’s honest and hand-made in the true sense of the word.” No doubt about it: the band’s fans will be just as happy!

The track listing is as follows:

1. Road To Vega 02:05
2. Comatose 05:09
3. Feather In The Wind 05:35
4. Singularity 04:20
5. Aurora 04:56
6. To Wear A Crown 04:57
7. Vice 04:40
8. Welcome To Devil’s Town 05:44
9. My Dear Old Friend 05:56
10. If The Sun Refused To Shine 05:53
11. The Last Encore 04:54
