Slayer, Lamb Of God And More Bands Confirmed For Download Festival 2019

The organisers of Britain’s biggest rock festival, Download has announced a further twenty four bands for next year’s edition of the event. Joining headliners Def Leppard, Slipknot and Tool will be Slayer, in what will be their final show in the United Kingdom, fellow thrash metal legends Anthrax, Virginia favourites Lamb Of God, grunge legends Smashing Pumpkins and progressive metal titans Dream Theater among others. The festival will take place at Donington Park from June 14th – 16th

Graspop Metal Meeting Announces First Batch Of Bands For 2019 Lineup

The organisers of Belgium’s premier metal festival Graspop Metal Meeting have announced the first fifty names for next year’s edition of the event. Headlining the Friday night will be Dutch symphonic metal outfit Within Temptation, while capping off Saturday will be Iowa nine piece, Slipknot. Also performing at the festival will be Def Leppard, Whitesnake, King Diamond, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Amon Amarth, Carcass, Testament and many more. You can see the initial lineup below. The festival will take place in the town of Dessel from June 21 – 23.
