Higher Power Posts “Can’t Relate” Music Video

Flatspot Records has confirmed the May 19th release of “Soul Structure,” the debut LP from Leeds, UK-based hardcore outfit Higher Power, and today a video comes online for “Can’t Relate.”

Bursting with old-school NYHC groove and West Coast crossover, Higher Power’s “Soul Structure” LP is about positive expression of aggression and a form of escapology. It’s about finding a positive outlet for anger, whether it’s social issues or mental health. The album was recorded by Misha Hering at Holy Mountain, with vocals recorded by James Atkinson at Mutiny Studios. The album was mixed by Arthur Rizk at Salomons Gate and mastered by Joel Grind, with artwork by Sam Bailey.

Higher Power has booked a long list of new shows for the months ahead surrounding the LP’s release, with a widespread U.K. tour alongside Basement happening from February 28th through March 10th. April 11th through 16th will see Higher Power playing alongside Terror on a tour of Germany and Belgium, and performing at Outbreak Fest in the group’s hometown of Leeds.
