Nightrage Taps Tomas Lindberg As Fill-In Vocalist For Gothenburg Sound Festival

Nightrage has checked in with the following announcement about recruiting Tomas Lindberg as a fill-in vocalist for an upcoming festival appearance:

“We are very happy to announce our participation in the Gothenburg Sound Festival that will take place on the 4th and 5th of January 2013 at Trädgårn Gothenburg Sweden. We are playing on the 5th of January along with some other cool bands like Dream Evil and The Resistance.

“Due to our main singer Antony’s scheduling conflicts, he will not be able to make the show (read his statement below). But we have a replacement singer only for this show… our old legendary singer Tomas Lindberg from the mighty At The Gates! We are super excited about this. See you all there.”

Antony also issued the following statement:

“Hey all the Nightragers out there! Antony here. So as some of you may already know the band has been selected to play the Gothenburgsoundfest in January. Unfortunately due to some scheduling conflicts I was unable to resolve, I will have to miss this show. It will be the first Nightrage show in six years that I will miss and it completely sucks! This festivals line up is of legendary proportions (Ceremonial Oath? Gardenian? Hell yea!).

“But fear not… I am proud to announce that we are going to just tack one more to that list of legends for our friends and fans in Sweden. That’s right, the one and only Tomas Lindberg will be helping us for this one off show. And it’s safe to say I am jealous as fuck not to see this take place. I have also seen the set list for this show, and let me tell you, no one will be disappointed.

“That’s all for now. Gothenburg metalheads, go out and support the boys with TL, and I’ll see you back with Nightrage as soon as possible!”
