Snake Eyes Seven Wrapping Up Work On New Album “Medicine Man”

Canadian heavy metal band Snake Eyes Seven is in the final phase of completing third release “Medicine Man.” The album is currently being mixed by producer and lead guitarist Cam MacLeod at the Wolf Den in Edmonton, Alberta.

“Just like ’13 Crows’ was leaps and bounds over our debut, ‘Medicine Man’ will crush anything prior to what we’ve done.” says founding member, guitarist, and chief song writer Cole The Madman Stevens.

Once mixdown is completed, the project then heads to L.A. to be mastered. The album will contain 9 blistering tracks of heavy metal and two videos were shot on location in December 2015 at the Twin D Ranch in Vancouver for the tracks “Medicine Man” and “Can You Hear Me Calling.” Both videos were produced by Danny Deane, executive produced by Cole Stevens, with executive assistance by Cat in the Hat Productions.

Wilson Streaming New Song “My Life, My Grave”

Wilson is a band that has toured relentlessly since 2010, through big cities and little podunks. A band that records its albums the ol’ fashioned way: with instruments. And analog gear. Fifth and sixth and twentieth takes. A band that brings that last Friday night on Earth mentality equally to huge crowds and audiences of two solitary dudes.

Today the band has premiered another track from debut “Full Blast Fuckery,” entitled “My Life, My Grave.” Check out at Absolute Punk here.

You can also read Wilson’s recent addition to our catalog of Pit Stories at this location. The track listing for “Full Blast Fuckery” is as follows:

5. Snake Eyes
6. I Can Beat Your Dad

Sacred Oath Posts Lyric Video For “Snake Eyes”

The four original members of cult U.S. metal band Sacred Oath are together again for the first time in more than 6 years and have released a lyric video for “Snake Eyes,” taken from the brand new full-length album “Fallen,” due on May 28th. Check out the video below. The following press release was also issued about Sacred Oath:

“The band is celebrating the 25th anniversary of debut release ‘A Crystal Vision,’ an album that somehow managed to become a cult classic despite going out of print almost immediately after its release in 1988.

“Singer Rob Thorne reformed the band in 2007 and has since released several albums with Sacred Oath, but ‘Fallen’ is the first full length album since ‘88 to feature Pete Altieri (bass), Glen Cruciani (guitar), Rob Thorne (vocals/guitar) and Kenny Evans (drums) throughout.”

In a letter to fans posted online, Pete Altieri describes the album as “Pure magic. I knew this was special, but until I sat down today to listen to ‘Fallen’ mastered and complete, I didn’t realize how much. This is truly a gift from the metal gods to all of us!”
