Bible Black Tyrant Signs With Argonauta Records

Argonauta Records has inked a deal with Bible Black Tyrant to release a new album this coming February:

“We’re excited to welcome in our roster U.S. supergroup Bible Black Tyrant, an oppressive sonic endeavor that features Tyler Smith, Aaron D.C. Edge and David S. Fylstra (members of Eagle Twin, Lumbar, KVØID, Form of Rocket, Minor Fret, Wasting Seasons, Iamthethorn, etc.). Their impressive album ‘Regret Beyond Death’ will be released during February 2018 on CD/DD (Argonauta Records) – vinyl (Cheddar Brothers Records), cassette (Anima Recordings).

“Beginning with a crushing density, Bible Black Tyrant’s ‘Regret Beyond Death’ offering immediately transports the listener into the dark forests of the Pacific Northwest at dusk; conjuring images of the sun setting against indecipherable, deciduous silhouettes. The air thickens as we continue a climb along a gently worn route to an unknown, undisclosed location.

“As the journey – and the record – lengthens, we are granted a strong scent of smoke and hemlock, of moss. Fear swirls ’round us now, fusing with the clamorous chants of a distant, uprising swarm, a loaded weight of atmospheric composition. Onward, and as the album nears its climactic conclusion, Bible Black Tyrant’s simultaneously oppressive and liberating mass projects a clear message written in the smoldering ashes: ‘Walk this path with us.'”

Wizard Rifle Announces New Album “Here In The Deadlights”

The Los Angeles-by-way-of-Portland stoner, doomed out, mathrock conjurers from Wizard Rifle are very pleased to unveil their brand new full-length in the form of the smoldering five-track “Here In The Deadlights.”

Set for release via Seventh Rule Recordings later this month, the follow-up to 2012’s “Speak Loud Say Nothing” full-length (reviewed here) was tracked by guitarist Max Dameron over three weeks at Breakfast Studio in Los Angeles, then toiled over for a year, with Billy Anderson (Sleep, Eyehategod, Melvins et al) and Jesse Johnstone sharing mixing duties.

The band’s previous album saw Wizard Rifle earn a nomination for best newcomer of 2012 during our annual year-end awards.

The new album “Here In The Deadlights” sees Wizard Rifle for the first time as a trio featuring Dameron alongside, drummer Sam Ford, and bassist David Boe pushing the band’s sound into far sludgier realms and reaching new levels of monolithic heaviness. The track listing is as follows:

1. Crystal Witch
2. Buzzsaw Babes
3. Paul The Sky Tyrant
4. Psychodynamo
5. Beastwhores

Circuitry Announces New Self-Titled Album Release

Formed from the smoldering and rotten corpse of Dark Empire has arisen Circuitry, a new strain of inescapable weaponized aural pestilence. Years of experimentation in multiple genres have resulted in a potent, debilitating form of metal to which there is no known antidote.

Guitarist Christian Colabelli and drummer Matt Guglielmo, formerly of Dark Empire, join forces with Joel Monet (Reach) on vocals to unleash this virulent auditory disease.

Circuitry has now confirmed a November 4th release date for a debut album. The album is available for pre-order here and you can also stream the track “Watch Our Shadows Cast” below. The artwork for the album was created by John Bryan of Revolution Dream Design.

“After a year of working on this album I can’t wait for people to finally get the chance to listen to our new band. It was a hard thing to endure Dark Empire’s breakup, but I was able to channel all of that negative energy into making an honest record, that I am truly proud of,” says guitarist Christian Colabelli.

The track listing is as follows:

1. The One Who Knocks
2. Safe Words
3. Watch Our Shadows Cast
4. The Monster in Her Womb

Herder Streaming "Feet Eager To Run To Evil" Track Online

Dutch band Herder has posted the song “Feet Eager To Run To Evil” online, which is taken from the upcoming “Horror Vacui” 12″ to be released on Reflections Records on November 13th, 2012. The song can be heard below, and pre-orders are available online at this location. Reflections Records also comments:

“The possible survivors of the smoldering crater that the Herder debut album left after impact, are now completely finished off with a furious death stab to the neck. No mercy, no positivity, no sobriety. Only the strong will be left standing, the rest will have their throats ripped out.

“Filth ridden bass, crushing triple guitars, thunderous hammering drums and genuinely pissed off vocals lay down the soundtrack for prison shanking, bar brawls, heavy smoking and lizard night drives at high speed! Lock up your wives, daughters, and well, your dogs too just to be sure. ‘Horror Vacui’ is the new weapon against human morale and it fucking destroys! FOAD – HERDER IS HARDER!”
