Serpent Skies Inks Deal With Sliptrick Records

Sliptrick Records has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with Serpent Skies:

“Serpent Skies, the melodic death metal band from Gavle [Sweden] recently signed a 24 month licensing contract with Sliptrick Records, for the release of their upcoming album ‘A claim to reality,’ whose artwork will be soon revealed.

“Serpent Skies moves along the lines of Dissection, Amon Amarth, At The Gates and In Flames, taking dueling twin guitars and scream/growling vocals to a new step!”

New Music Video “Watching My Every Move” Released By Dragonsclaw, Free Compilation Download Offered

Australian traditional metal band Dragonsclaw released a the third music video for the sophomore album “Judgement Day.” The new video is “Watching My Every Move,” which features a guest vocal appearance by David Reece (ex-Accept), can be seen in the player below. Check out the previous videos for “Fly: Defenders of the Skies, Pt. II” and “Battle Cry”. “Judgement Day” is available via Killer Metal Records.

In addition, as a holiday gift to the fans, the band is offering a free download of the new compilation album, “Fleshwounds,” over at this location. The compilation includes the all the band’s videos to day and 2 unreleased rarities.

New Single “Fly: Defenders of the Skies, Pt. II” Streaming From Dragonsclaw

Australian traditional metal act Dragonsclaw is streaming the band’s new single “Fly: Defenders of the Skies, Pt. II.” The song appears on the band’s sophomore LP “Judgement Day,” which is available now as a digital download via iTunes. The physical CD release is expected in August. Back in April, Dragonsclaw premiered the track “Watching My Every Move” (featuring Ex-Accept vocalist David Reece) right here on Metal Underground.com, which can still be heard over at this location.

Septekh Reveals New EP “Apollonian Eyes” Details

Septekh, Sweden’s dirty thrash/death act, will release new EP “Apollonian Eyes” on Abyss Records this coming April 1st, 2013. The new EP includes 4 new raging tracks of metal insanity and is the second EP from Septekh.

“Apollonian Eyes” is said to bridge the gap between previous debut EP and the band’s as-of-yet untitled full-length album, which is currently in production.

Album Artwork For New LP “Epitome Of Torture” Unveiled By Sodom

Sodom unveiled the artwork for the band’s upcoming LP “Epitome of Torture.” The album drops on April 26, 2013 (GER), April 29, 2013 (EU) and May 7, 2013 (US) via SPV/Steamhammer. The artwork featuring Sodom‘s popular “Knarrenheinz” logo was developed by graphic designer Meran Karanitant, who has caused a stir with his work for Six Feet Under, Hatebreed and Dimmu Borgir, among others.
