Ravenous Death Premiere New Song “The Sinister Being” From Upcoming New Album “Chapters of an Evil Transition”

Ravenous Death premiere a new song entitled “The Sinister Being”, taken from their upcoming new album “Chapters of an Evil Transition”, which will be out in stores January 21st on Memento Mori.

Check out now “The Sinister Being” below.

Tells Ravenous Death’s drummer Esteban Salcedo, who wrote the track:

“I wanted to create a song with evil riffs and a couple of variations on the drums. Obviously the lyrics had to be according to the music. In fact, the entire album has a concept: it’s the story of a man who was marked by evil at birth. Therefore the songs have a sequence. At this point of the story, the man (nameless) has already embraced the darkness. He has already learned to live with his demons, he is already in the cult and he is ready to fully awake the sinister being that he has cultivated throughout his life. Through the story embodied in the lyrics, he is rejected by society because of that inherent evil that dominates him and all the scum that surrounds him. At first he began to kill for revenge, out of rage towards humanity, but the sinister being now does it for pleasure and to make offerings to his cult. Regarding the music, the ideas came out in a day of inspiration and little by little small arrangements were made. So if you want to hear more and know the whole story of this man, get the album!”

Darkher Announces “Realms” Album Release

Atmospheric doom artist Darkher will release her debut full-length LP, “Realms,” on August 19th via Prophecy Productions. The label comments:

“Darkher is an intriguing, haunting trip through the mind and spirit of U.K. artist Jayn H. Wissenberg, a charismatic West Yorkshire-based vocalist / songwriter whose powerful, captivating music is characterized by slowly building storm clouds of guitars and haunting, spine-tingling vocals.

“Creating extraordinarily dark music full of contrasts, including both chilling loneliness and the warmth of hope, the sound of Darkher is veined by both an unsettling atmosphere of encroaching dread and a deep, otherworldly confidence.

“Realms features nine distinctive, dynamic and dramatic tracks that are impossible to resist. Songs such as the sternly imploring ‘Moths,’ the driving ‘Wars,’ with its signature drum march, or the sinister, unfathomable ‘Buried’ or ‘Foregone’ may be mentioned as cornerstones of an album that, due to its quality and diversity, bears the potential earmarks of a future classic.

“Lyrically, ‘Realms’ mirrors the ominous, awe-inspiring character of the music; the tales on the album lie somewhere between this sphere and the unseen worlds before and beyond. Darkher songs reveal Wissenberg’s relationship with fear, death and spirituality, and question how love can connect souls from past, present and future.”

1.) Spirit Walker
2.) Hollow Veil
3.) Moths
4.) Wars
5.) The Dawn Brings A Saviour
6.) Buried (Part 1)
7.) Buried (Part 2)
8.) Foregone
9.) Lament

Svoid Releasing New Album “Storming Voices Of Inner Devotion”

Svoid just checked in with this statement about gearing up to drop a new studio album this coming April:

“Brothers and sisters, it is time to announce that Svoid is set to release our second full-length album titled ‘Storming Voices of Inner Devotion’ on the 18.04.2016 by Sun & Moon Records. We had the pleasure to produce the album together with Dániel Somogyvári at 1G Studios. The artwork was created again by Péter Sallai (Mortpaintgraphics) and his artistic output is a profound initiation of what we have done on the record.

“It was a long ride from our roots to get here but this sinister path shines so bright. The new album consists of eleven tracks and thousand waves of Doom which reflect our aim of today with strong understanding.

“This time we also had the opportunity to dive deep within our musical abyss which has thousand forms, extending the boundaries with a response of ages that we create order from. ‘Storming Voices of Inner Devotion’ is an ultimate trace of us devoted to All and Nothing, so be there to expect the unexpected.”
