Exmortus Back In The Studio & Recruit Warbringer Members For Studio Sessions

Exmortus have started tracking their new album at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA. Those sessions are helmed by producer Zack Ohren (Immolation, Fallujah). Exmortus have recruited Warbringer members drummer Carlos Cruz and guitarist Chase Becker for the sessions.

Vocalist/guitarist Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez comments:

“We’re all stoked to record the new album with Zack, it’s the third time we’ve worked together and we feel very comfortable with him. He is a great engineer and always gets the best performances from the band. It’s unfortunate that [drummer] Mario Moreno and [guitarist] David Rivera will be stepping out for this session, but nonetheless we’re very excited to record with good friends and awesome. Can’t wait to release these heavy tunes.”

Comments guitarist/vocalist Fernando Di Cicco :

“This is the last song we’ve written for this record and when we entered the studio we had no idea about how the vocals and lyrics would have been on this one so we decided to record it at the end of the session. By the time we recorded all the other songs, we were so damn tired—we had been in the studio day and night for 10 weeks—we decided that this song should be about our life in the studio and how hard we’ve been working to get to a point where we feel satisfied and complete. This song is for all those people who keep pursuing their passions no matter what. Those who give everything to get where they wanna be…”

A lot of things have happened in the meantime but the songs are as great as ever and I’m super stoked to be joining one of my favorite bands on stage, only this time on a permanent basis.

I’m very grateful that the guys thought of me after all these years and I can’t wait to see you all out there.”
