Orwellian Working On New Album

Orwellian – a metal band hailing from the rust belt of Youngstown, Ohio – is currently working on a new album to see release in 2017. This release will follow 2015’s “Visions of the Future,” with full details forthcoming.

Deriving the name from George Orwell, “Orwellian” is an adjective describing the situation, idea, or societal condition that Orwell identified as being destructive to the welfare of a free and open society.

Khemmis Posts New Single “Three Gates”

Denver-based doom metal legion Khemmis has unveiled the new single “Three Gates,” culled from incoming second LP, “Hunted,” which will see release through 20 Buck Spin on October 21st.

Using the same team as with the band’s lauded “Absolution” debut, “Hunted” was recorded at Flatline Audio with Dave Otero (Cobalt, Nightbringer, Cephalic Carnage) and features artwork by Sam Turner (3 Inches Of Blood, Black Breath, TRVE Brewing). Catch the band live:

The album will see release this Friday, August 26th digitally as well as on limited edition LP licensed through Rock Is Hell. An official video from Jettison will be deployed in the coming days, followed by new Bellringer live actions.

Unbreakable Hatred Posts Full “Ruins” Album Online

With its release now less than a week away, MetalSucks is currently hosting a stream of “Ruins,” the crippling new full-length from Canadian tech death strategists Unbreakable Hatred (also available below).

Unbreakable Hatred was forged by guitarist Philippe Drouin, his drummer brother Dominic and vocalist/bassist Simon B. Lapointe.

“Ruins” was captured by Chris Donaldson at The Grid Studios (Cryptopsy, Despised Icon, Neuraxis etc.) and will see release via Unique Leader Records this Friday, August 21, 2015.
