Lvx Haeresis Premieres New Song “IV” From Upcoming Debut Album “Descensus Spiritus”

Swiss black metal band Lvx Haeresis premieres a new song entitled “IV”, taken from the upcoming debut album “Descensus Spiritus”, which will be out in stores March 11 via Atavism Records. The album was mastered by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress, Secrets of the Moon, etc.) and its cover art was created by Lemmy Gonthier.

Winterhorde Posts “Maestro” Title Track Lyric Video

A new lyric video for “Maestro” just came online from Winterhorde’s upcoming album of the same name. The clip was created by Costin Chioreanu and can be seen below, while “Maestro” is due to drop May 20th.

The album was recorded by Alex Feldman in Sound Studios, Tel Aviv, with mixing handled by V.Santura (Obscura, Triptykon, Secrets of the Moon) and mastering by Jens Bogren (Amorphis, Katatonia, Amon Amarth).

“Maestrom” features guest appearances from Jirí BigBoss Valter (Root) and Peter Huss (Shining). Pre-orders are online now at this location.

North Kicks Off U.S. Tour Dates

Gloom metal trio North embarked on a headlining tour last night in Arizona and is making its way to meet up with Secrets of the Sky for a 10-date run across the Western U.S. A complete list of the band’s upcoming tour dates can be found below.

North recently reissued 2006 debut “Siberia” and the 2014 EP “Metanoia.” In addition to separate hand-screened, hand-numbered vinyl releases, the two recordings are also now available as a combined 12-track CD featuring reversible artwork.

North Signs Deal With Prosthetic Records

From Tucson, Arizona comes Prosthetic Records’ newest band signing: the atmospheric sludge trio North.

Consisting of vocalist/bassist Evan Leek, guitarist Matthew Mutterperl, and drummer Zack Hansen, the group has released four EPs and two full-length albums. Check out a video clip below announcing the signing.

North’s upcoming June tour is a precursor to a 34-date trek on which the group will embark later this year. See a list of the trio’s upcoming appearances after the jump.

Tear Out The Heart Releases “I’ve Got Secrets” Music Video

The new video for “I’ve Got Secrets” from St. Louis’ metal outfit Tear Out The Heart is live now and can be seen below.

“’I’ve Got Secrets’ is a song about self-realization,” Tyler Konersman (vocals) emphasizes. “Being true to yourself no matter how hard things get. It’s a big middle finger to anyone who thinks they have the right to judge you.”

Loch Vostok Releasing New Album “From These Waters”

Sweden’s Loch Vostok is set to release a sixth album titled “From These Waters” on March 27th, 2015.

According to a press release, the album’s ten tracks cover “pretty much anything and everything metal, from doom to übershred, from death metal to djent, from black metal to progmetal, from beauty to the ugliest of ugly.”

The band is also confirmed to play the Secrets Of Metal Festival in Belgium on May 23rd. Check out the new songs “Like Poison to the Stars” and “Sentiment” below. The album’s full track listing is as follows:
