Grand Supreme Blood Court Issues New Album Update

Following the release of debut album “Bow Down Before the Blood Court” in 2012 and a split release in 2014, Grand Supreme Blood Court is now working on a follow-up release. The band comments:

“After a busy period for some of the members we can announced that at this point 6 new songs are written. 4 more to go before we can enter the studio. Still the release of our second album is planned for second half of 2017. More news about record and label to be revealed soon.”

Shattered Sun Posts Second “Hope Within Hatred” Track-By-Track Clip

Shattered Sun recently returned home to Texas from a run on the “Dark Roots Of Thrash II” tour providing direct support to Testament and Exodus.

Today, Shattered Sun brings you part 2 of the track-by-track breakdown for new album, “Hope Within Hatred.” Check it out below, and part 1 is also still available over here.

Vocalist Marcos Leal sat down to explain the second half of the album in the video below, with the tracks “Dead Set,” “281,” “Awaken,” “No Sympathy,” a haunting cover of Testament’s “Return To Serenity,” and how the band chose to cover the classic song.

Pirosaint Issues New Album Update

Pirosaint has just been confirmed as supporting act for Alekhine’s Gun on October 17th, 2014 at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie, NY.

The band is currently performing new and previously recorded material as an instrumental 3 piece in the Poughkeepsie area as vocalist Gonzalo Rodriguez recuperates from a recent house fire.

Pirosaint will continue with the rest of the vocal recordings as soon as possible to be able to finish the second half of a new album before this year ends.

The art work for the upcoming album has been created by the Chilean artist Claudio Bergamin. The concept for this album was developed by guitar player Bill Smith and the band is expecting to reveal the artwork and track listing soon.

Forgotten Tomb To Release New DVD And Album In 2014

Forgotten Tomb has issued the following announcement about releasing a live DVD and new album next year:

“As the end of this proficuous year approaches, we just wanted to let you know that we are completing works on our live-DVD, to be released first half of 2014.

“Also, 2014 will mark 15 years of FT, so we’re going to celebrate it with the release of a brand-new studio album (tentatively over the second half of the year) as well as some special live-shows. Cheers!”

Earth Reveals New Album "Angels Of Darkness, Demons Of Light II" Details

The second half of Seattle drone icons Earth’s “Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light” is being prepared for release on Southern Lord in North America this February 14th on CD, LP and digital download formats.

Recorded in the same two week session as 2011’s “Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light I” by Stuart Hallerman at Avast and mastered by Mell Detmer, “Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light II” carries on in the freely and folkloric vein of the last release and invokes even more improvisational and unrestrained energy than its predecessor. The track listing is as follows:
