Exhumed Streaming “Gravewalker” From Split With Iron Reagan

In honor of an upcoming combo assault with hardcore thrash miscreants Iron Reagan, today the gorelords in Exhumed expel a new canticle of chaos in the form of “Gravewalker.”

Comments Matt Harvey, minister of diseased death rattles and obscene elegies: “In between our seemingly endless road schedule and recording a new album, we managed to squeak in some time to barf up a couple new tracks and cover songs for this split with our tight buds in Iron Reagan. They’re a bit more stripped-down and nasty than the last album [Necrocracy], which was a lot of fun for us. This EP is all about cutting loose and getting down and dirty. We hope you’ll join us in the grime and turn out for our week of shows with the Reagans just in time to have one last rager before you spend the holidays with your creepy drunk aunt who keeps touching your face at the table – you know the one I mean! See you mutants on the road!”

American Standards Splits With Drummer And Guitarist

Arizona’s American Standards has posted the following announcement online about lineup changes:

“It’s with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of both our drummer Geoff and guitarist Brennen. Both have been with American Standards since its inception. They leave on a good note with the reason that they’re at different points in their lives with different priorities then when the band started. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to any future projects.

“With that being said, their last show will be our EP release September 14th at Havana Cabana (formerly Rocky Point Cantina). You can expect a new single and video from the EP early August.

“Going forward we’ve been fortunate enough to pick up the very talented Craig Burch (The Last March Of The Ents) and Mike Cook (Your Young/The Author) to fill their spots.

“With these new members we’ve already began writing a follow up full length album due out early 2014. As a decision by the band, we plan to release this album without backing from We Are Triumphant due to disagreements in artist development and vision. Still Life and the respective merchandise will continue to be available through Victory Records.

“We’ll continue to play all booked dates as well as have several tour announcements in the near future. As always, we thank everyone for their continued support.”
