Cloak Releasing New Self-Titled

On Samhain of 2015, Cloak entered Rising Tide Studios with Anthony Lunn to record a self-titled debut EP, which is being released via Boris Records on June 20.

“In the Darkness, the Path” is a crushing mid-paced track that is by far the band’s heaviest, while “The Hunger” presents an eerie, ghastly sound to close the record off. The lyrical concepts for each are just as important as the music itself, focusing on the spiritual transformation that opposes what most would deem as earthly truths. The result of the recording is one of pure chaos that haunts you well after the music is over.

Cloak invites the listener to destroy your perception, open your hearts to the darkness, and venture to venomous depths!
