At The Gates Posts New Music Video “The Mirror Black” Online

Swedish death metal legends At The Gates has released a new music video for the song, “The Mirror Black,” which was released today as a seven inch single and features guest vocals from Rob Miller of Amebix fame. The clip was created by Costin Chioreanu / Twilight13Media, who also is also responsible for the artwork duties of the entire “To Drink From The Night Itself” release. The video can be seen below.

At The Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg checked in with the following comment :”When we decided that we wanted to release the two Rob Miller tracks on a separate 7″, we felt that ‘The Mirror Black‘ was worthy of its own video. Costin was already excited about the idea, and I explained the basic outlines of the idea of the song. Working with Costin always brings in another dimension to our music and my lyrics; so he did his own interpretation of the main theme of the song. I am super happy with the result, I really think that this is one of the best videos At The Gates have ever done. There are a lot of hidden meanings and other symbolism in this clip, so you can watch it many times and still find new stuff. We as a band are super excited about this release!”

Drowning Pool Re-Issuing “Sinner” In Two Disc Version

Drowning Pool is set to release the two-disc “Sinner (Unlucky 13th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)” on 11/11/14 via The Bicycle Music Company/Concord.

The band will also launch the corresponding Unlucky Sinner 13 tour performing “Sinner” in its entirety beginning October 21st in San Antonio, Texas.

The expanded reissue of debut album “Sinner,” originally released on 6/15/01, represents the definitive version of Drowning Pool’s classic Dave Williams years, whose untimely death in 2002 at the too-early age of 30 marked an unlucky end to a rising star.

“Sinner (Unlucky 13th Anniversary Deluxe Edition)” is re-mastered and features a new bonus disc of 13 studio demos direct from the band’s vaults, officially available for the first time.

The unreleased track “Soul,” from disc two, was serviced to the Active Rock radio format just a few days ago and a video for “Soul” will premiere in November featuring rare and never before seen footage of Drowning Pool from the “Sinner” era. Pre-orders for this new version can be found at Amazon.com here.
