Lyric Video For New Song “Fighting The Beast” Posted By Dragonhammer

Italy’s Dragonhammer released a lyric video for “Fighting The Beast.” The new song appears on the band’s upcoming new long player “Obscurity,” which drops October 27th via My Kingdom Music.

The band will present the new album at a release party supporting Firewind in Rome at Jailbreak Live Club……and so you’ll ride the Dragon flying on the music!

“Obscurity” was recorded at Domination Studios by Simone Mularoni (DGM). The track listing is:

Sons Of Balaur Posts “Realm Of The Damned” Animated Comic Trailer

Sons Of Balaur is celebrating the release of full-length album “Tenebris Deos” this month. To commemorate the release of the album, the band will soon launch an apocalyptic album release party at London’s Crobar in Soho on Oct. 20.

Alongside the album release party, Sons Of Balur will also see the UK premiere of the “Realm of the Damned” animated motion comic at The Prince Charles Theatre. The movie features the dark and haunting voices of David Vincent, Dani Filth, Jill Janus, and many more.

Doro Announces DVD Release Party In Hamburg

A night to remember: metal queen Doro will come to Hamburg on Tuesday, June 28th, to celebrate a DVD release party at Hard Rock Cafe with fans, friends, partners and guests.

The relese of “Strong And Proud – 30 Years Of Rock And Metal” will be celebrated massively as fans can look forward to meeting Doro and her band along with a signing session.

Before that, a 110-minute cut of the 7-hour plus DVD will be shown on all big screens and monitors. It features highlights of Doro’s anniversary shows in Wacken, Dusseldorf, New York and Moskau as well as a scene from the “Behind The Curtain, Inside The Heart Of Doro” documentary.

Doro comments: “I’m looking forward to celebrate the premiere of the anniversary DVD in Hamburg’s Hard Rock Cafe. I hope that as many fans as possible will have find time and fancy to party with us and my record label, Nuclear Blast.”

Maïeutiste Releases “The Fall” Video Clip

Following the previous release of the “Absolution” music video, Maïeutiste has a new clip online now for “The Fall.”

This new video, available below, features images taken from “Faust” (1926) by F.W. Murnau and comes off the band’s self-titled album set to drop on September 19th via Les Acteurs de l’Ombre productions. A release party is also scheduled for that same day at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, France.

Sixty Watt Shaman Inks Deal With Ripple Music

Baltimore-based heavy desert rock/doom unit Sixty Watt Shaman is pleased to announce its official union with California rock powerhouse Ripple Music for the release of a forthcoming new full-length.

Titled “Tabula Rasa” and slated for release this Winter, the record will be tracked by J. Robbins of Jawbox at Magpie Cage Studio in Baltimore, Maryland next month. Comments the band:

“We are honored, proud, and excited to release our fourth album, Tabula Rasa, with Ripple Music, and join the incredible roster of such a fan driven, artist supportive and creatively freeing label. With our new material we have wiped the slate clean, the past is the past. It’s darker and heavier than our previous efforts, with the energy and soul that made us who we were, and will always be. Brothers, climbing up and down that mountain. Toss genre tags around as you will, we’re Sixty Watt Shaman, and we’re back.”

In the meantime, Sixty Watt Shaman will bring some blues-laden swagger to the stage of the The Opera House next month in Sheperdstown, West Virginia with Karma To Burn and Rhin. The following evening, the band will rumble the Empire in Springfield, Virginia as part of King Giant’s record release show. In June, the band will quake pavement at The Maryland Doom Fest in Frederick, Maryland with additional onstage jam sessions to be announced soon.

Black Rainbows Announces New Album “Hawkdope”

Heavy Psych Sounds Records today announces a new Black Rainbows album titled “Hawkdope,” to be released in the U.S. on March 17th, 2015. Distribution in the U.S. will be handled via Cobraside and All That’s Heavy (in Europe Clearspot, Good Fellas, Cargo and Shellshock).

“Hawkdope” was recorded last August at Heavy Psych Sounds studio and was produced by Gabriele Fiori. Fiori is also the band’s guitar player and vocalist as well as the man behind the label. He explains “Hawkdope is a perfect mix of Monster Magnet, Hawkwind and Fu Manchu — a psychedelic, lysergic storm of heavy space-rock containing nine brand new tracks.” The band also proudly cites Nebula, Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer and the MC5 as particular favorites and influences.

The band formed in 2005 and has six releases out now, including a four-way split featuring Naam, White Hills, Black Rainbows, and The Flying Eyes. See the band live on these dates:

Dead Earth Politics Issues EP Update And Posts Live Shows

Austin, Texas metallers Dead Earth Politics are nearing completion on their upcoming “Men Become Gods” EP. The EP is second in a series of three that began with last year’s “The Queen of Steel,” and is scheduled for release on March 14th. For a taste of “Men Become Gods,” the band has posted an unmastered version of “Casting Stones” at this location.

In other news, Dead Earth Politics has been added to the 2015 Texas Independence Fest, taking place April 10th-12th. The band will join Between The Buried And Me, Whitechapel, Sheer Terror, Hammer Fight and many more at the Empire Control Room & Garage in Austin, Texas. For details, visit the festival’s website.

Dehuman Cracks Open New Track “Crypts Of Blood”

Dehuman is now stream “Crypts of Blood” online, taken from upcoming album “Graveyard of Eden,” in the player below, thanks to Vs-Webzine.com.

The song is a raging piece of uncompromisingly fast, epic and vicious take-no-prisoners death metal produced at both the Blackout Studio (Enthroned, Emptiness) and Sainte Marthe Studio (Arkhon Infaustus, Deep In Hate, Department of Correction).

“Graveyard of Eden” is the follow-up to the band’s 2012 debut “Black Throne of all Creation.“ It will be released on March 9th (world) and 10th (North America and digital) via Kaotoxin Records.

A release party will take place in Lille (FR) on March 13th with Savage Annihilation and Infected Society, to be followed by an April tour in Spain. The album’s track listing is:

Laika Announces “Somnia” Record Release Show

Melodic death metal band Laika is proud to announce the band will be holding a local CD release party for “Somnia” (due out September 30th via Filth Regime Records) in Winnipeg, MB on October 11th at The Windsor Hotel (187 Garry Street) with local support from Tyrants Demise, Mortalis, Withdrawal, and Occvlt Hand. Admission is $10 and the first 25 people in the door receive a free copy of “Somnia.”

Vocalist Jordan Dorge comments: “This is a momentous occasion for us all because not only are we celebrating the release of Somnia we are also celebrating 5 years as a band, we will be playing Somnia in full and a cover or two.
