Sickening Horror Premieres New Song “Interstellar”

Greek technical death metal band Sickening Horror is about to release its third album titled “Overflow”, after the 2007 debut album “When Landscapes Bled Backwards” (with Nile’s drummer George Kollias in the line-up) and 2009’s follow-up “The Dead End Experiment”. Today the band offers you a first taste of what “Overflow”will sound like and premieres a new song entitled “Interstellar” below.

Sickening Horror’s new effort will be released on March 17 via Deepsend Records and can be pre-ordered HERE.

BongCauldron Streaming Superhot Studio Session

Leeds three-piece BongCauldron has signed with Superhot Records to release its sludge soaked debut EP. To celebrate this occasion Superhot Records invited Corky (bass, vocals), Biscuit (guitar, vocals) and Jay (drums) to record a live studio session late in April 2013.

Despite making the long drive to Superhot HQ in the small hours of a Monday morning, having just played and partied at ‘kin Hell Fest all weekend and one of the lads not having even made it to bed the night before they had no problem blasting out five minutes of oppressive sludge.

Watch the live session below, and check out the album version of the track over at bandcamp. Superhot Records will release the EP later in 2013. BongCauldron continue writing music and have the following shows lined up for this year so far:

Khorne Readying Debut EP For July Release

Pakistani doom/death band Khorne is gearing up to release its debut EP in July, having just completed drum sequencing, final guitars and bass tracks. Khorne on a short tour of Lahore and Islamabad, with vocalist Farhan Rathore staying in Lahore for two days and spending the rest of his trip in Islamabad. Khorne released the two track demo “Resurrection” in February of this year, both tracks which are streaming below.

Space Witch Streaming “Hang The Witch”

Hailing from Stoke On Trent in the UK comes sludge combo Space Witch, who is gearing up to release its official debut EP “The Alchemy Paradox” on April 30th. One song from that three-track endeavor, “Hang the Witch,” is streaming over on bandcamp, or below in the widget. You can also stream two of Space Witch’s previous demos on that link. The space sludge instrumental trio is also putting together dates for a mini-UK tour as we speak.

Deathmarched Posts New “Go War” Music Video

Deathmarched has released a new music video for “Go War,” which comes off the “Spearhead of Iron” album and can be viewed below. The band also comments:

Romero Launches Kickstarter Campaign To Release LP On Vinyl

Madison, Wisconsin sludge band Romero has launched a kickstarter campaign to get enough funds to release its debut album on vinyl. The new Romero album, “Take the Potion,” will be released digitally on January 29th and will be available to stream via the Grindcore Karaoke website. Romero has previously released a couple of singles, “Couch Lock” and “Solitaire,” both of which can be streamed over on bandcamp.

Algetic Streaming Two Songs From Upcoming Album, "Sewer Dynasty"

German death metal band Algetic is gearing up to release its debut album “Sewer Dynasty” shortly, and has shared a couple of songs from it. Below are streams of the tracks “Machete Lynch Mob Pacification” and the title track. Algetic, which hails from Karlsruhe, Baden used to be known as Grotesque Impalement before changing its name.

The Red Coil To Release Debut Full Length LP "LAM"

Italian sludge/groove act The Red Coil has announced that the band will release its first full length release “LAM” in October 2012 through Buil2Kill Records (exact date not set). In 2009, the band self-issued the debut EP “Slough Off.” The album will be distributed in Italy via Audioglobe and Century Media Records in North America.

The band describes its sound as in the vein of Black Sabbath, Black Label Society and Down. Check out some of the band’s music in the player here:
