Outer Heaven Inks Deal With Relapse Records

Outer Heaven have signed with Relapse Records and will soon enter the studio to begin recording their new album. The tracking sessions will take place at Developing Nations Recording Studio in Baltimore, MD with Kevin Bernsten (Full Of Hell, Integrity) behind the boards with a late 2018 release scheduled.

Says the band of their new label home:

“We could not be more excited about becoming part of the beast that is Relapse Records. To be amongst so many bands that inspired us, as well as so many friends, is something truly killer. Our forthcoming LP promises to be the most devastating material we have conjured to date. We have sunken days, months, years, and LAVA into these songs and we think it will undoubtedly show.”

After a long stint of inactivity, Swiss grindcore band Mumakil has started off the new year by announcing their disbandment:

Hello there. Wish we could start the year with better news but unfortunately it is time to announce that the beast is no more. MUMAKIL IS DEAD. Let’s just say that the momentum is long gone. We have all moved on to new horizons. Thank you for showing up over all those years, thank you for the support, the headbangs and of course the hangovers! You are family. Grind on.

While promising new music in 2016, the band’s last release was “Flies Will Starve,” issued by Relapse Records back in 2013.

Spawn Of Possession Calls It Quits

Swedish death metal group Spawn Of Possession has officially called it quits, issuing this brief message to fans:

“Last week we decided to put SoP to rest due to several problems, mostly because we now realize we don’t have the time to either finish a beast like a new album properly or do anything else with SoP for a long time.

“So the band has pretty much just faded away at this point. Anyway! We are very thankful for all the support we had through the years! Cheers!”

The group’s last major release was the “Incurso” full-length album via Relapse Records back in 2012.

Dying Fetus Releases NSFW Video “Die With Integrity”

The harrowing new Dying Fetus short film for “Die With Integrity,” directed by Mitch Massie, has come online. If you’ve got the stomach for this very NSFW video, check it out below.

The video follows a man enacting brutal revenge on a gang of miscreants responsible for the rape and murder of his pregnant wife. He is The Wrong One To Fuck With.

Director Mitch Massie commented: “I wanted to make a revenge tale, a western, and an 80s slasher movie, so I rolled them all up into this video. I love the idea of a guy cutting off heads and attaching them to a chain as he hunts down all the people that fucked his life up only to find out that it was a scorned madame of a brothel that instigated it all.”

June 23rd, 2017 will see the worldwide release of “Wrong One To Fuck With” via Relapse Records on CD/2xLP/digital formats.
