Southern California extreme metal force Seven Sisters Of Sleep just shared “Gutter,” a new song off the band’s upcoming full-length “Ezekiel’s Hags.” Listen in below.

If you missed it, a recently posted video for the album track “War Master” is also still online at this location.

Seven Sisters Of Sleep will be performing with Coffins and Noothgrush this February at the “Ezekiel’s Hags” record release show, and additional tour dates will be posted in the coming weeks.

Third Ion Posts Video Ahead Of “13/8 Bit” Release

Prog metal outfit Third Ion, featuring former members of The Devin Townsend Band and Into Eternity, has announced a string of dates that saw the band hitting six Canadian cities in September.

Third Ion has also posted a full studio performance video of the song “Zero Mass,” which is playing below. The band is currently putting the finishing touches on its debut full-length, “13/8Bit,” for which it recently posted the lead single “Capitol Spill.”

Third Ion is the product of a mutual love of prog, video games, and science. The debut album will contain eight to ten songs, including the title track which is written entirely in 13/8 time signature. 8-Bit musical renditions of every song will be released as well, to pay homage to their 1980s classic gaming inspirations.

Whoretopsy Recruits Guitarist And Drummer For Slamtember Mini Tour

Australian slammers Whoretopsy recently posted the news that their guitarist and drummer have exited the band in this following announcement:

“It’s with heavy hearts that we regretfully announce the departure of AJ and Gilesy from Whoretopsy. For 2 years we have been slamming together as brothers, and in that time achieved incredible things and accomplished dreams. We thank them for everything and wish them the best of luck with their future musical endeavors.”

AJ: “Hey guys, it’s AJ here. I have decided to part ways with my beloved band. I wish the guys all the best.. And everyone that’s ever supported me and the guys along my journey, I appreciate it so much…. Couldn’t have wished for more. Love, AJ”

GILESY: “Thanks to everyone for the support but it’s time to move on. Had the time of my life and good luck to the remaining members.”

Whoretopsy plans on continuing and fulfilling all current tour commitments, which include supporting Kataklysm and Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu on December 6th at the Northcote Social Club along with the Slamtember mini tour. Chris Paras and Brenton Marsh from The Seraphim Veil will join the ranks as drummer and guitarist for that upcoming tour. Laika Splits With Guitarist Ronnie Ladobruk

Canadian melodic death metal act Laika has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Ronnie Ladobruk:

“Last night’s show was a momentous occasion to bring another chapter to a close in Laika’s nearly 5 year history, thank you all for coming out to witness Ronnie’s last show on a Monday night nonetheless.

“We bid Ronnie farewell to pursue other projects. His time in Laika was fantastic, by far one of the more talented members we have ever had in the line-up. Even though we will lose a guitarist progress wont be halted.

“We start recording scratch tracks for the long overdue album ‘Somnia’. Expect videos, teasers and much more. Stay tuned…”
