Ex-Chelsea Grin/Born Of Osiris guitarist Jason Richardson will perform with All That Remains in instead of their late guitarist Oli Herbert, who passed away past fall amid suspicious circumstances.

Comments Richardson:

“I’m very honored to be able to help keep the band going because there’s definitely no way Oli would’ve ever wanted All That Remains to stop for any reason. After being a huge fan myself since their album ‘The Fall Of Ideals‘ came out, it’s definitely a very humbling/surreal experience to be able to come into a group that helped get me into metal back when I was first learning to play guitar.”

About Killswitch Engage:
Formed in 1999 out of western Massachusetts, Killswitch Engage are often credited as one of the most influential metal acts in the last 20 years. Twice Grammy-nominated, they’ve sold over 3 million records worldwide, with The End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies both certified Gold in the U.S. The band has enjoyed multiple Top 10-charting albums, with 2016′s Incarnate landing at #6 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 on the Current Rock Albums chart, and debuting at #1 overall in Canada, #5 in Australia, and #10 in both the UK and Germany, a testament to the band’s international reach.

As co-founders of Killswitch Engage, guitarist/backing vocalist Adam Dutkiewicz, guitarist Joel Stroetzel, bassist Mike D’Antonio, and lead vocalist Jesse Leach (who returned four years ago after a decade-long absence) together with longtime drummer Justin Foley continue to make trend-resistant, timeless heavy music that feeds the soul, touches the heart, and strengthens the mind. Spending much of their career on the road, Killswitch Engage have enjoyed premium slots on major U.S. tours, including OzzFest, Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest, Music As a Weapon, and Trespass America, as well as countless international festivals around the globe. Having shared the stage with acts ranging from Rise Against to Slayer, the diversity and versatility of their touring is unparalleled. Their songs have been featured on Guitar Hero III, Rock Band, John Madden, the Resident Evil III soundtrack, and as entrance music for WWE wrestling champ CM Punk. The band’s compelling history can be seen in their latest release, Beyond the Flames: Home Video Vol II, a treasure trove of gripping content, containing 3.5 hours of footage, including a 75-minute documentary that chronicles the return of original vocalist Leach after nearly a decade away from the band he helped form, as well as tons of live footage from around the globe. The band recently announced its signing to Metal Blade Records, with a new album planned for 2019.

About Parkway Drive:
The five-piece metal band from Byron Bay, Australia formed in 2002. The band features vocalist Winston McCall, guitarists Luke Kilpatrick and Jeff Ling, bassist Jia O’Connor, and drummer Ben Gordon. For more than a decade, the band has stood at the forefront of heavy music worldwide, matching their uncompromising urgency with a powerful musicality. Parkway Drive has released six studio albums, all on Epitaph: Killing with a Smile (2005), Horizons (2007), Deep Blue (2010), Atlas (2012), IRE (2015), and Reverence (2018). The band has also released two platinum-selling DVDs, one EP, a split album with I Killed The Prom Queen, and one book.

Reverence, produced by longtime Parkway Drive sound engineer George Hadjichristou, is the band’s most sonically adventurous album and their most personal album to date. With its barrage of heart-shredding anthems, the album was closely informed by a series of tragedies the band had endured over the past few years. Reverence debuted in the US at #2 Current Hard Music, #34 Billboard Top 200 and #2 Current Rock Albums. The album debuted #1 in Australia and recently won the 2018 ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album.

Globally praised for their powerful live show, the band has had massive performances at festivals all over the world including Welcome to Rockville (US), Aftershock (US), Carolina Rebellion (US), Northern Invasion (US), Rock on the Range (US), Warped Tour (US), Montebello Rockfest (CA), Rock Am Ring (DE), Rock Im Park (DE), Hurricane/Southside (DE), Download Festival (UK), Reading and Leeds (UK). Rivers Of Nihil Posts New Music Video “The Silent Life” Online

American technical death metal band Rivers Of Nihil has posted a new music video online for the song, “The Silent Life.” You can check it out below. The song comes from the band’s latest album “Where Owls Know My Name,” which was released in March of this year through Metal Blade Records.

Guitarist Brody Uttley comments: “This live music video for ‘The Silent Life’ was filmed by the kind folks over at MyGoodEye Visuals in our hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania on the last date of our recent headlining tour. We had our good pal Zach Strouse playing live saxophone with us that night, so it seemed like a great chance to catch some footage. As always, working with David Brodsky and his team was a blast. We hope you enjoy. We will also be embarking on our second European tour late this November with our friends in Revocation, Archspire, and Soreption. We will be playing a nice selection of new tunes as well as some old favorites. Come out and get in the pit!”

Thousand Below Premiere New Official Music Video For “Vein”

Thousand Below premiere a video for “Vein” taken from their latest album, “The Love You Let Too Close“. Comments vocalist James DeBerg of the personal meaning to him behind the track:

“The track ‘Vein‘ is the one song on the record that focuses mainly on the coping mechanism of drug abuse in my own life as well as how it affected and even defeated many people close to me. Ketamine drug abuse is ultimately what led to the suicide of my best friend. Not only did drug abuse lead to the loss of my friend and harm my own life to a certain degree, but my girlfriend who was living with me at the exact time of the loss relapsed on heroin as a reaction to the suicide. She immediately fell out of my life that very month, which only led to the weight on my shoulders that was drug abuse affecting my loved ones.”
