Thousand Below Premiere New Official Music Video For “Vein”

Thousand Below premiere a video for “Vein” taken from their latest album, “The Love You Let Too Close“. Comments vocalist James DeBerg of the personal meaning to him behind the track:

“The track ‘Vein‘ is the one song on the record that focuses mainly on the coping mechanism of drug abuse in my own life as well as how it affected and even defeated many people close to me. Ketamine drug abuse is ultimately what led to the suicide of my best friend. Not only did drug abuse lead to the loss of my friend and harm my own life to a certain degree, but my girlfriend who was living with me at the exact time of the loss relapsed on heroin as a reaction to the suicide. She immediately fell out of my life that very month, which only led to the weight on my shoulders that was drug abuse affecting my loved ones.”

Currently working on the follow-up to 2015′s The Anthropocene Extinction, Cattle Decapitation has officially welcomed Belisario Dimuzio (Eukaryst; guitar) and Olivier Pinard (Cryptopsy; bass) to their ranks! The band comments: “We’re pleased to announce the new lineup that will appear on our next album due out in fall 2019! Many of you who have come to our shows in the past couple of years have seen that we have had a 2nd guitarist on stage with us for the first time in the band’s existence. We proudly welcome Belisario Dimuzio (from San Diego’s Eukaryst) as a full-time member, and he will appear on the next album! We’re also happy to announce Olivier Pinard (Cryptopsy) as our new bassist, who will be appearing on our next album as well! Oli has filled in on shows with us in the past; the chemistry we have with both him and Bel is undeniable, and we’re excited to have them with us. Be sure to keep an eye out for Cryptopsy‘s next release entitled ‘The Book Of Suffering: Tome 2‘! Also be on the lookout for a HUGE announcement coming Sept. 20th, regarding a super cool Cattle Decapitation release that has been in the works for a decade now! It’s an exciting time for the Decap! Suffocation Announces Last Tour With Vocalist Frank Mullen

New York death metal pioneers Suffocation have announced dates for their final North American tour with original vocalist Frank Mullen. This historic trek will take place this upcoming October / November and see the band joined by misanthropic gore grinders Cattle Decapitation, Brazilian death metal legends Krisiun, and Swedish tech-death sensations Soreption.

Mullen went on to issue the following statement:
“Hello my friends – so this is it, after 30 years of being a part of this amazing band, which I have had the opportunity to tour the world and bring our music to the sickest fans on the planet, it has come to this time – I bid you a farewell.

“I would like to thank first and foremost, all of my brothers in Suffocation who I have shared the stage with over the years. We have had the sickest of times on the road, and recorded some of the sickest fucking music the planet has ever heard. Secondly I want to thank ALL OUR FANS AND FRIENDS WORLDWIDE, who have helped make this journey possible by supporting us unconditionally. None of this would have been possible without you. So in closing, I will miss you all. This has been the craziest ride of my life and I would not change a thing! Until we meet up again take care, stay brutal and I look forward to the next chapter.

“But before I take my final step off the stage, to give back to all of you who have supported, me and the boys are going to head out on the DEATH CHOPPING NORTH AMERICA tour. Along with some insane support acts including Cattle Decapitation, Krisiun, and Soreption! I hope to see you all for one last ride across North America. Stay brutal.”
