Queensryche Posts New Song “Blood Of The Levant” Online

American progressive metal legends Queensryche has posted a new song online entitled, “Blood Of The Levant.” You can check it out below. The song comes from the band’s forthcoming new album, “The Verdict,” which is scheduled to be released on March 1st through Century Media Records. “The Verdict” was produced, mixed, and mastered by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Iced Earth, Hatebreed) at Uberbeatz in Lynwood, WA, Planet-Z in Wilbraham, MA and Watershed Studio in Seattle, WA.

Avantasia Posts Second “Moonglow” Album Trailer

Avantasia, the all-star rock opera spaceship piloted by Edguy singer, songwriter and producer Tobias Sammet, release their eighth full-length album, “Moonglow,” via Nuclear Blast Records on February 15th. The new 11 track album sees Sammet reunited with some familiar faces from previous Avantasia albums. Guests include original Queensryche lead singer Geoff Tate, Pretty Maids frontman Ronnie Atkins, Michael Kiske of Helloween, Jørn Lande (ex-Masterplan), Eric Martin (MR BIG) and Magnum’s Bob Catley. Moonglow also introduces new collaborators Hansi Kürsch of Blind Guardian, Kreator’s Mille Petrozza and Blackmore’s Night frontwoman Candice Night in a truly spectacular fashion.

Today, Avantasia release the second (of three) interview trailers, in which Tobias Sammet talks about the guest musicians on “Moonglow” and explains why he chose each of them for his songs.

Progressive metal legends Queensryche has posted a new lyric video online for the song, “Man The Machine.” You can check it out below. The song comes from the band’s forthcoming new album, “The Verdict,” which is scheduled to be released on March 1st through Century Media Records.

“We are excited to reveal the first full song ‘Man the Machine’ from our upcoming album, The Verdict. This is just a small taste of what is to come, and we look forward to unveiling more tracks and videos as we approach the official album release date of March 1st, 2019 via Century Media,” states Queensrÿche singer Todd La Torre about the new single and album.

First Details Of New Album “Castles Of Sand” Posted By Starsoup

Russian prog-rockers Starsoup will release the second album “Castles Of Sand” in December 2017. The exact release date will be revealed soon. The artwork and track list was revealed today and can be viewed below.

Starsoup is the heavy metal/progressive rock project of vocalist Alexey Markov (Distant Sun). The songs vary stylistically – you may find that some are heavily influenced by Metallica, Queensryche and Savatage. The project was founding in Moscow towards the end of 2011 when the first single, “Angels,” was recorded. The music consists of heavy guitars, atmospheric keys with an accent on the grand piano and varying vocal techniques.

Video Clip For Re-Make Of “Fake Healer” Feat. Todd LaTorre Posted By Metal Church

Metal Church issued a video clip for the newly re-made classic “Fake Healer” (originally released in 1988 on “Blessing in Disguise”). The song features a duet with Mike Howe and Queensryche’s Todd LaTorre. It will be featured as a studio track on the band’s upcoming new live album “Classic Live,” coming April 28th via Rat Pak Records.

The band has debuted new track “Hellfire,” which comes off the group’s upcoming full-length offering, “Condition Hüman,” set for a release via Century Media Records on October 2, 2015.

Ulterium Records Inks Deal With Millennial Reign, New Album Preview Clip Available

Texas melodic metal act Millennial Reign – featuring Aska bassist Dave Harvey – signed on with Ulterium Records for the release of the new album “Carry the Fire.” The album drops worldwide on October 30th in CD, LP vinyl and digital formats.

“Carry the Fire” was mixed and mastered at Nomad Studio with engineers JT Longoria and Gary Long. The cover artwork (shown below) was created by Felipe Machado (Blind Guardian).

Fans of Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Judas Priest and Crimson Glory will not be disappointed with this new album. Millennial Reign should be in any collection of melodic or traditional power metal.

Queensryche Releasing New Album This Fall

Rock By Wild has posted a video interview online with Queensryche’s Michael Wilton shot last month in Italy, in which he reveals a new album is set to drop this fall. The full interview is available below, and Wilton comments:

“The next album from Queensryche is hopefully coming out the first week of October. We are doing a worldwide release. The record label, Century Media, is the one that will be putting it out and they have the demos right now and are very positive and happy about it. I know that a lot of people are really anticipating this, so stay tuned and you won’t be disappointed.”
