Children Of Bodom plan to enter the studio around the end of March to begin tracking their new album. The band will be recording at their own Danger Johnny Studios in Helsinki, FIN and are currently in the middle of writing new material for the new release. Tonight, The Agonist returns to the road on the band’s first ever headline tour of Canada. The tour starts August 4th in Montreal, QC and runs through August 29th in Regina, SK. A complete list of dates can be found below.

Guitarist Danny Marino is looking forward to tearing across Canada: “We’re pumped and ready for our first ever cross Canada tour! We’re excited to play some places we’ve never been and give full headline shows to some places we’ve only been as support. We’ve prepared a varied set that spans our 5 records to date. Looking forward to seeing all you fellow Canadians out there!”

The Agonist is touring in support o Napalm Records debut “Five” and the band recently released a video for “The Raven Eye.”

First Ever Canadian Headline Tour Announced By The Agonist

Canadian metal act The Agonist is set to return to the road in its native land this August. The band is on tour in support of the latest release and Napalm Records debut “Five,” which was released late last year.

This is will be the first ever full headlining Canadian tour and the band cannot wait to devastate the nation with a spectacularly brutal live show.

“In almost 10 years of touring The Agonist has yet to plot a full Canadian tour. We get asked all the time by fans and this year we said it’s about time eh! Although we have played most Canadian cities at one point or another it was always sporadic and often as a support. We’re really happy to finally give a proper headline show to all our Canadian brothers and sisters across the country,” says the band.

The tour starts August 4th in Montreal, QC and runs through August 29th in Regina, SK. A complete list of dates can be found below:

Rings Of Saturn Denied Entry Into Canada Missing Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City Shows

For reasons Rings Of Saturn did not share, the band was turned away from the Canadian border and will miss its scheduled appearances in Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City.

Comments the band: “Unfortunately we had trouble crossing the border into Canada for the first time ever on tour, and will not be able to play the Toronto, Ottawa, and Quebec City shows. We apologize for not being able to be out there, however we will be crossing during the later Canadian dates on the tour
