Tremonti Posts New Music Video “Throw Them To The Lions” Online

Tremonti has just released another music video, for the latest single from the band’s Napalm Records release “A Dying Machine.” “Throw Them To The Lions” is an up-tempo metal song, something that Tremonti has come to be known for over their multiple releases through the years. The video was filmed at a recent sold-out show in the UK and can be seen below.

Last month, Metal Underground caught up with Mark Tremonti to talk all about “A Dying Machine” and the progress of a new Alter Bridge album. You can also view the interview below.

Nothing More Tackle Disturbing Trend Of Mass Shootings In “Let ‘Em Burn” Video

Nothing More premiere a new music video for their song “Let ‘Em Burn” taken from their latest effort, “The Stories We Tell Ourselves“. The video takes on the disturbing trend of mass shootings in the U.S..

Comments Nothing More:

“Hundreds of people have been killed in mass shootings over the past several years. Almost everyone has chosen the red team or the blue team and we’re stuck in this mode where we fight over political problems instead of human solutions.

More guns or less guns isn’t the question. The real question is, why are we killing each other?”

Adds the band’s frontman Johnny Hawkins:

“The ‘villain and victim’ narrative in media is so seared into our brains that we can’t see straight. The media has become our God and we have become its bitch.

We are blind to human solutions because our emotions have been glued to political problems, and it has paralyzed our progress.

Most of us know that mental health is the cause of mass shootings, yet we are obsessed with talking about the symptoms and gridlocking ourselves in political battles without proper action.

It’s time to find solutions… it’s time to focus on mental health.”

Zephyra has returned with the melodic death metal sound to release a new single, “The Darkest Black.”

“The Darkest Black” is released through Inverse Records and builds a bridge between the second album, the critically acclaimed “As the World Collapses,” and the progress of writing and recording a third one. Once again the band has worked with Micke Andersson at MRG Studios (Borås) for recording and producing, and with Christian Donaldson at The Grid (Montreal) for the mix and master works; a superb team as showcased on the last album.

Autumns Eyes Posts “Ending Life Slowly” Studio Update

Autumns Eyes just released a studio video updating fans on the progress of new album “Ending Life Slowly,” which follows previous release “Broken Leaves and Haunted Streets,” and also issued this statement:

“It’s a strange position to be in, being a solo artist with no record label breathing deadlines down your neck. On one hand it’s quite therapeutic to create music without any restraints, but to fans who await your new material, it can be a grueling process of patience. When I first started making music under the name Autumns Eyes, I was cranking out song after song, album after album, and totally hitting my stride. As the years progressed, so too did the years between new albums.

“Working under seemingly limitless conditions caused this process of creation to become more relaxed, but at what cost? Well, the older you get, the more life tends to get in the way of things you once enjoyed so freely in your youth. What used to be such a well-oiled music making machine, has progressed into a passionate project that only gets attention whenever the calamity of life mellows out just enough to let the project thrive again. So, I suppose there are in fact limitations on my easy-going therapeutic recording sessions after all.

“Despite these limitations, there is still music to be made, and Halloween is looming over the horizon. While promotion for the album is set to ramp up as the months progress towards October, I’ve put together a video to quench anyones thirst who’s been curious as to whats been going on behind the scenes. ‘Ending Life Slowly’ is scheduled for release this Halloween, and the 10 song album will be accompanied by new music videos, merchandise, and other Autumns Eyes goodies that are sure to satisfy fans both old and new.”
