Flotsam And Jetsam Posts New Music Video “Demolition Man” Online

American thrash metal veterans Flotsam And Jetsam has posted a new music video online for the song, “Demolition Man.” You can check it out below. The song comes from the band’s forthcoming new album, “The End Of Chaos,” which is scheduled to be released on January 18th through AFM Records.

This is the fourteenth album in their more than 30-year history. “This album kills! It’s all five guys with the gas pedal pushed to the floor for the entire album!” states Ken Mary.

“It was cool to have a new element of influence on this album with having Ken’s drum parts to partner with and play in and around his playing that also do with the guitars and vocals. Glad to have had Jacob Hansen bringing this album to the overall sound and energy it has, Jacob really highlights AK’s vocal melodies, as well as Steve and Michael’s songwriting, while the power of the rhythm section drives the songs.” – Michael Spencer

Sepultura To Premiere “Sepultura Endurance” Documentary In London This Sunday

Part concert film, part testimonial to the power of music, part intimate insider view, Sepultura Endurance is a close-focus portrait of Brazil’s rock legends featuring previously unseen archival footage from the band’s 30 year history. Former Danzig And Murphy’s Law Guitarist Todd Youth Passes Away

Todd Youth (born Todd Schofield,) known for his time playing with hardcore bands such as Warzone and Murphy’s Law, as well as Danzig, has passed away at the age of 47. The guitarist also spent time with such bands as Agnostic Front, D-Generation and even filled in for Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell for a short period, before forming a new band named Fireburn with former Bad Brains vocalist Ras Israel Joseph I, who posted the following message on his Facebook account:

“There are no words to express how sad I am at the passing of my brother Todd Youth. The music he made will forever be remembered, and I’m so thankful that I was able to work with him and that we created Fireburn together. Todd and I were living separate lives doing hardcore and reggae music. We met each other in 1992 and then never spoke again until 2017. We created Fireburn within two weeks of knowing each other and finished writing two of my favorite hardcore records that I ever worked on: “Don’t stop the youth”, and “Shine”. Closed casket records signed the band and we were on our way.

“We had great shows and lots of people showed up to them. We toured with GBH from England, hung out with the guys from Negative Approach, and got our blessings about our music and our records from the Bad Brains. I know that Todd is now resting in peace and I know that Krishna has taken his soul to a better place. He was a devout Hari Krishna and a devout human being.

“Todd wherever you are I hope that we will make music again one day. Life is a circle, and I know I’ll meet you again in that circle brother. We will meet again. Rest In Peace, Rest In Power, rest my brother. I am saddened that we cannot make music again together in this world, but I am happy that you are finally going home to be with Krishna that Haile Selassie has finally giving you peace and comfort my brother.

“One day, I too will lay down and die. This body that I wear is temporary. I will probably be alone. There’ll probably be no one around me. However I know that I will join you and all of our other friends in that good place, and we’ll all see each other again. I’m sorry you died Todd. I’m sorry I can’t see you again. I’m sorry I wasn’t there to help you. You are my friend and my brother and I love you. Rest in peace my brother. May your visit to our Heavenly Home be full of peace, and comfort, and closeness to Krishna. Haribo. Haile Selassie I. FIREBURN.”

Gorod Premiere Official New Music Video “Bekhten’s Curse”

Along with the release of their new studio album “Aethra” comes the below premiere of Gorod‘s official new music video for their song “Bekhten’s Curse“. Watch it now below:

Comments Gorod‘s frontman Julien Deyres:

“Out of all of the songs on the album, these lyrics required the most research. I am not at all a specialist in Egyptian antiquity, but in doing my research on lunar deities I discovered this extraordinary story about a so-called miraculous healing of Ramesses II’s sister-in-law. This legend is engraved on a stela that is currently in the Louvre Museum and is a proven historical fake.

In this song, I am playing the role of a Bekhten’s city survivor, which was completely destroyed to restore a form of eventual reality… because way too often, popular legends such as this one were created to hide misdeeds by those who have the power and wish to be considered as heroes…”
