Hate Eternal Premiere New Track “Nothingness Of Being”

Hate Eternal return with another song from their upoming new full-length “Upon Desolate Sands“. This latest single is entitled “Nothingness Of Being”. “Upon Desolate Sands” will be released on October 26th via Season Of Mist.

Says vocalist/guitarist Erik Rutan of it:

“For years I have wanted to add a heavier and darker element into Hate Eternal. For this album the inspiration came and the heaviness followed. Using a lower tuning then our norm for a few songs on ‘Upon Desolate Sands‘, and going through some personal life experiences helped create a depth of darkness and sense of despair to inspire me to write ‘Nothingness of Being.‘”

In November the band will join up with Cannibal Corpse and Harm’s Way on this U.S. tour.

The Man-Eating Tree Parts With Two Members, Working On New Album

The Man-Eating Tree just checked in with the following update about working on a new album and parting ways with two members:

“This Fall has been a harsh playground for emotions. As a result, there’s always some good things to come out of it, some less. We have started the writing process for new The Man-Eating material. We’re currently going through various new interesting ideas and making sure this new stuff will be something from the heart. Making new TMET-songs means full dedication and motivation.

“That being said, we are truly sad to see Antti Karhu (guitar and backing vocals) and Mikko Uusimaa (bass) leave The Man-Eating Tree. Unfortunately, with our plans as a band, it became impossible to match TMET with their personal life commitments elsewhere. Their decision to step aside is something we respect 100% and hope you respect too.

“They both played significant roles along the way and we´d like to thank them for all the good times and their contributions in making The Man-Eating Tree what it is today, We wish only the best for them both.

“Here’s the brand new video for the song ‘Death Parade.’ The video was filmed during the Unioni-tour last Spring with Finntroll and Wolfheart. The song is from the latest The Man-Eating Tree album ‘In The Absence Of Light.'”

No Second Chance Parts With Vocalist Stu

Vocalist Stu from U.K. hardcore outfit No Second Chance has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with the band:

“Its with an incredibly heavy heart that I am announcing that I will no longer be a part of No Second chance. This is by far one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make but I feel now is the time for me to move on and focus on parts of my personal life I have neglected recently.

“There is no bad blood between me and the guys at all and they have respected my decision. The last 2 and a bit years in this band have been some of the best times and the memories I have will not be forgotten any time soon. I wanna say a big thanks to everyone that made me feel welcome when taking over from Owen your support never went unnoticed.

“To the other 4 guys in this band I want to say thanks for taking the chance with me and letting me do things I never thought I would do in a band. This is not the end of NSC just the end of my chapter. My last show will be Essexfest on the 2nd of Aug. Be there and lets party.”

The band also commented on Stu’s departure: “There’s no big story, no huge break up and no arguments – Just a guy that wants to put his life on track and being committed to a band is not helping him to do so. Stu has been a legend since joining and we’ll miss him on the road and the stage, he will remain one of our best friends and part of our family regardless.

“So, what’s next? We’re not done yet and aim to play as many of the dates we have booked as we can do and are now busy working out some things to enable us to do this so watch this space. We’ll be talking with any promoters booking us over the next few days.”

Path To Prevail Going On “Indefinite Break”

Guitarist Erich Geuter of Florida act Path to Prevail has checked in with the following statement about the band calling it a day:

“Hey guys and gals, Erich here. If you could spare a moment of your time to read this post. It’s very bitter sweet for me to say that Path to Prevail has come to the end of the road. As most of you know we’ve been a band for a really long time, and we have gone through countless members for different reasons. I, and many others have put a lot of time and heart into Path to Prevail.

“I feel it is time for me to take a break and focus more on my personal life, therefore the band is taking an indefinite break. I know I can speak for the rest of the guys when I say thank you so much to everyone that has supported us over the years, attended countless shows, and made us feel at home away from our home, We love you all so much.

“I would personally like to thank everyone that has ever stood by my side on stage as a member, as a friend, and a brother. Poured their heart, sweat, and sometimes even blood into Path to Prevail, I love you all and I will always cherish our time together doing what we loved, thank you.

“Thank you very much everyone again, I love you.”

RandomWalk keyboardist Dorian has issued the following statement about deciding to part ways with the band:

“Dear friends,

“I regret to announce that I have decided to part ways with RandomWalk. Unfortunately, recent changes in my personal life do not allow me to be an active and fully dedicated band member, as I have been the last 8 years.

“It has been a wonderful journey for me with 2 full-length albums, dozens of live shows, 3 video clip shootings, many strong feelings and definitely countless memories. I would like to deeply thank my RandomWalk brothers for sharing all these moments with me and I wish them all the best for the future.”
