This past weekend an All-Star Musician event took place at the The Headliner in Neptune City, New Jersey to benefit Rock Against Dystrophy. The event featured members of Accept, Guns N Roses, Savatage/T.S.O., Metal Allegiance, A Sound of Thunder, TT Quick and more performing classic covers.

Grave Enters Studio To Record 10th Album "Endless Procession Of Souls"

Swedish death legends Grave entered Studio Soulless over this past weekend to begin recording the band’s tenth album and first since the 2010 release “Burial Ground.” The tentative title of the new album is “Endless Procession Of Souls” and will consist of twelve tracks, nine of which are originals along with three special tracks. The album is scheduled for a mid-2012 release date through Century Media Records.

The album will also feature new guitarist Mika Lagrén (Facebreaker) who replaced Magnus Martinsson after his departure in October 2011.

Turisas Posts Behind-The-Scenes Festival Footage

Finland’s Turisas has posted two video clips online from the band’s recent European festival appearances, which can be viewed below. The group also commented:

“We played two shows the past weekend: first festival show ever in Sweden at Getaway Rock festival & at Rock Harz, Germany. Awesome shows, awesome crowds! Video for Rock Harz will be online within a week. Turisas will return to Germany soon – we’re playing at Heidenfest in September-October 2011.”
